Cool build, but can it be that melee kickstart is a wrong idea? Needle has 3 charges and I thought I remembered that kickstarts don’t work on abilities with multiple charges so I watched the last few minutes and didn’t see it activate at all.

Little tip for the stats: Tier 7 (70) recovery is the breakpoint for warlocks in pve. The difference between 70 and anything higher (80,90,100) is so minimal, it’s pointless. I don’t know the exact numbers but it’s very bad, check d2 armor picker for exact data. TLDR: Recovery: 70. No higher, no lower. Strength & Discipline: Higher the better, not really any breakpoints in said categories.

honestly, I'd switch khovostov out for a legendary strand weapon with the Synergy mod. Synergy works on a spearate cooldown from normal tangle generation, basically doubling the amount of tangles you can generate. With the Wanderer and Thread of Fury, you're getting a LOT of value out of that second tangle

my personal suggestions for weapons would be Aisha's Care, Better Devils, Imminence, Breachlight, and Rufus' Fury. All of them are able to be crafted or enhanced, and can thus use Synergy

@@NoversGGhave you ever gotten a roll on the Warlock bond with Osmiomancy and Harmony? I find to be one of the most customizable builds on my warlock. As long as you have a weapon that matches your super, you’re good. Only grenade I find works the least with the build is the healing grenade. Everything else is fair game.

I’ve been meaning to use this exotic. It was really cool for them to add arcane needle against barriers on it. That alone makes it stand out. But I’ve been running different arc builds lately for the next episode lol.

I wonder if this build with weavewalk to replace ur arcane needle. Matiodoxia gives u that extra melee energy so you'll always have a free invis and 90% danage resist whenever u would need it.

I've been using this build pretty much since Prismatic came out, I use grab lance instead. I almost never use weave walk for reason my own. I don't use the chest piece but instead Nezerac Sins for ability Regen among all skills. Mods are up to you

Use thorn plus necrotic grips and not only do you suspend kills but you spread poison everywhere causing more damage

I had that on originally but I was making so many orbs anyways that it wasn’t needed. You can throw that on if you’d like I just feel like it’s a bit overkill.

Been trying to get this exotic to work but I'm constantly out of mele. Going to give this version a try. Sadly all my gear is slanted towards discipline because so many warlock builds revolve around the grenade. Might need to craft some new stuff.

You can do this build on prismatic as well if you want I originally had it on prismatic but switched to strand

I don't think Kickstart mods work with abilities with multiple charges. People ran into this problem with osmiomancy gloves. Great build though!

It's extremely annoying when other players steal the tangle, which suspends in a aoe due to the wanderer aspect. Others shouldn't be able to pick it up within the fiirst 20 seconds of spawning in or not at all. Just my opinion.

This is true I just don’t really have any other helmet mods that would be much better in solo content specifically, however you could use radiant light and powerful friends in multiplayer activities

It’s definitely useable there but honestly I’d go for a stasis/prismatic lock build for that one since you need to shut down ad waves quickly

Just a suggestion, maybe do the stats to prioritize before that armor mods. If someone is building while watching they can't pick the armor to put the mods on to until they know what stats to prioritize 🤦🏾‍♂️...I skipped to that section of the video and then go back for the mods.

Monte carlo would also work but honestly Khvostov is a significantly better weapon than monte carlo. Also suspending multiple enemies works really well with khvostov since the ricochet rounds will damage all of them.

This is true however Khvostov is a much better weapon overall and works very well killing suspended targets because of the ricochet rounds. I've never found success using monte carlo in any endgame pve but if you can make it work by all means go for it

Honestly other than survivability I’ve had a much better time with it on strand. Totally fine to use it on prismatic if you’d like though

@ if you mess up the loop or something happens while on strand, you’re just chalked. On prismatic when you pop transcendance is gives you all your abilities back, with you’re multiple charges (which I’m sure you and most people know) but what you might not know is song of flame too gives you all of your abilities back. I’m in a default state (not transcendance or super) for 15 seconds tops at a time with how I have it set up

Yeah you’re right, issue is if I’m going to use prismatic I can do that with any exotic really. I can’t really show off this one’s potential on prismatic since prismatic’s loop is essentially the same everytime. Strand allows me to suspend more targets and throw tangles to prock melee recharge for it. If I’m gonna use prismatic I’m gonna use a turret build 90% of the time. But again prismatic is fine it just doesn’t help show off the exotic as well

@@NoversGG idk. Give it a try. I don’t use turrets. Throw a melee on a dude. Throw a jolt storm Grenade. Pop hellion. Marked dude dies and suspends everyone around. Throw another melee. You have 3 different damage over time DOTs on all enemies in any given radius, with unravel, jolt, and scorch and then add in the 4th “DOT” which is you shooting. It’s just far more lethal than strand. And the best part of the exotic you cant really take advantage of the multiple needles in one target. On normal strand, if you use that ability you’re basically out of melee because no amount of ads barring minibosses and champions give enough energy to refund all three instantaneously. You’re only going to see that large chunks of energy by killing champions, which you might not be able to always do for the duration they are suspended since it’s half the time for them. The transcendence ability regen will always outpace any regen you’re going to get from the exotic itself. So might as well use it on prismatic since you can benefit from both. I can give you the build if you want. I’ve ran it in GMs and dozens of wave 50 clears on onslaught. I can’t be bothered to try soloing it but I imagine it’ll get you to wave 40 at least solo
