Finally someone that shares my evaluations on many popular games. Sub! Great work with the videos. Cheers from Sweden

I found your channel when I looked for a playthrough of paperback adventures on BGG. I immediately subscribed to it. Great to see new material on solo board gaming. Funny that youtube never recommended it.

Meadow is one of my favorites! I do find that it becomes much more challenging when playing with someone as opposed to the randomization of the solo. I’ve been holding off on keystone North America until the new version comes out, it’s been difficult because it just looks so good!

There will be a new version?! When?

I tried the 'fireside' (or something similar, maybe campfire?) variant on BGG the other day and it felt a lot more competitive so I would recommend giving that a go too! It just gives the AI a way to compete for those campfire goals without many other rules. I definitely think it will be worth the wait with Keystone - I'm so sad about the prospect of finishing the base game scenarios so I cannot wait for the new stuff in the expansion!

It's recently been on Kickstarter! Have a look for Keystone North America 2nd Edition and Coastal Expansion on Kickstarter - late pledges are still open but I think it will be in retail too at a later date (although it was tricky to get in the UK for a long while!)

I love Uwe games and felt similar to you about Glass Road. I didn't have a problem with Wayfarers, enjoyed it. For Meadow, try the Solo Campfire Variant--gives the game a little bit more without being too much for a chill time.

I'll definitely be giving that a go! Thank you!

It's a lot lighter than I expected but I've definitely been enjoying it! I've found a slightly more competitive solo version on BGG too so I'm going to give that a try as well. It's so beautiful I really love the artwork!

Wayfarers is also the game that made me realize I like fixed rounds! The automas are my least favorite from all Garphill games, just so so fast.

Glad it's not just me! It's quite funny how long it's taken me to make that realisation about fixed rounds! I'm quite interested in playing other Garphill games just to see if it was an anomaly for me... especially if the automas may be less mean!!

I already considered to scrap Wayfarers off my list, and your comments pushed me over the edge. From what I've learned about it, it seems needlessly complicated and too abstract for my taste.

Yes I think I agree with that, I definitely need to play it more solo to see how I feel a bit more! I'm excited to try the slightly more competitive solo mode on BGG too. I hope you love Keystone when you get it! I'm so excited for the new version!!
