One hour away from Cusco, is the quaint little town of Pisac which is home to the famous Pisac ruins - part of the Sacred Valley. I had one morning left in Cusco so I decided to take a solo half-day trip here and hike through the ruins before returning back to Cusco.

Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

You should stay in pisac it's beautiful on the outside .we spent 2 months in Peru. I really recommend Arequipa if you get a chance . City is so different to Cusco. We also stayed in Puno for short duration recommend tulipans restaurant . Nazca was ok. But if your going to Lima .try siesta soupa and Miraflores does the best food .

@@RLX5201 the route I did is called "czerwone wierchy" ('the red tops' in translation to English). It's actually not too far from Zakopane :)

There is a secret shortcut to the intihuatana thru the secret waterfall at the end of the woods path where all the hippies hang out in Pisac. Just follow the river...Thank me later

It is a hallusogenic cactus.

@@BackpackingBananas Wachuma is the 1000s of yo Quechua name. Its like shrooms or acid except you do it with a shaman who guides you through the process, if guidance is necessary.

@@BackpackingBananas If you toured San Pedro Market in Cusco at some point they sell it in 2L bottles at some stands. That's nasty stuff tho, not shaman refined necessarily. It grows everywhere locally and if you saw cactus on your travels it was likely San Pedro cactus.
