Solo Hiking in the Enchantments | Getting Honest About Life Lately.

On June 26th, 2022 I scored a permit to camp in the Enchantments. Located in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness here in Washington, a bucket list worthy area to hike in. My permit was for the Stuart Zone going to Stuart Lake where I headed out solo on what I thought was going to be the first backpacking trip of the season.. But it's not always as it seems out there.. Getting honest about hiking solo, body image issues and how lonely life gets sometimes. But making promises to myself that this summer will still be one of the best ones yet.
