Good to see you out in the bush mate! I suggest you also invest in a set of Rooftop's paper maps. I use them 4wding as well as my Hema device and they've actually come in handy when the device has overheated and failed. Plenty of hikes out near my bush block too in Noojee!

Thanks Berky - I had a paper map of the area, but do those Rooftop ones have all the hiking trails on them? Got home today from another :)

@@bladesepicadventures7165 They do have significant walking trails on them. They're just very good maps. I'll take a copy of a section and email to you so you can get an idea.

Great post......just found your channel after watchin your beeripmo walk......that lederderge gorge walk is a ripper......we did the bears head circut (starts at the carrot tree then heads up through the grass section you did at the start and then down to the river, down along it for 7 odd km (all bush bashing and rock scrambling.....but fun and beautiful) and then up "the goat track" you took - and i felt your pain man!! It was brutal 😁 Hammock campin is the best! Good luck with your next saunters!

Tough hike well done 💪 I’m wanting to smash myself on this one sooner or later 😂

Looking back on this one, I really did almost do myself an injury :P There was no trail for sections so it was hard yakka. Good luck and have fun!! :)

@@bladesepicadventures7165 one thing I’ve learned so far, it’s always harder than expected 😂 did 20km in a day hike at Lerderderg a couple of weeks ago, smashed me to bits but will definitely do it again 😎🤙

Doesnt help if you put the camera down, walk towards it and then turn and walk away, doing the extra meters, all makes a difference. Bears Head Track, wow you walked a long way from Long Point to get there along the river, no wonder you were tired.

So very true, but probably why I've changed my camera work in later videos. Though I still do it a bit 🤣🤣
