Great hike, with beautiful views. We hiked the Foothills trail in October. It's 76 miles. We passed the sign for Table Rock trail, and Carrick Creek, at the end of our hike. If you are ever at Table Rock State Park again, you should hike over to Bald Knob via Foothills trail. The views are spectacular.

Nice video! There’s a cool spot you can climb down to the ledge of the rock. I’ve hiked this trail many times and it never gets old.

Good idea to have Caden with you. Before you mentioned that at the end, I was wondering about: 1. where is Caden (what kind of work is he into?), and 2. What happens to you if something happens? You aren't even packing a trekking pole to help you hobble back with a bad sprained ankle, and 3. how many more miles did you add for the video shots of walking to show us the way (and then returning to pick up your gear)? I really do have a greater appreciation of the physical effort you put into the making of the video, not to mention the editing of said video. Thank-you. Thank-you and thanks.

Thank you for watching! I probably added another eighth mile of hiking filming it.

The big waterfall that you can see from the top of Table Rock is Slicking Falls. We were up on Table Rock on Thursday and I used my handy dandy Gaia GPS app to ID it. If you don’t use Gaia, I highly recommend it! It has nearly every trail on it, and it’s really nice for trip planning before, and navigation during a hike. You don’t have to have the paid version to use in airplane mode/without cell service, either. I second the recommendation to check out Bald Knob on the Pinnacle trail next time you’re at TRSP! But don’t bother summitting Pinnacle Mtn, unless you just want to check it off (it’s the tallest mountain completely within SC…Sassafras is split between NC and SC). There are zero views on top of Pinnacle. (But you know I went up there anyway just to say I did, lol.) Love your videos!

so it seems semi recently, before the hurricane helene damage, the ridge trail from table rock to pinnacle mountain was redone. its considerably wider. definitely made considerably easier.

The lake is a water reservoir. Pretty sure you can’t access it. Glad to see you did the hike! What did you think?

It was awesome! I didn't know SC had mountains like that.

@@LeviSpangler i don’t think there is many pinnacle trail at table rock is cool too. Sassafras and Caesar’s head are cool but you can drive up. Big rock in Pickens is actually really cool. I think that’s all i know of in upstate SC.

I might have to check those out one day!

like that older dude said. theres a lot of people that stop at the sign for the table rock summit. there are still a lot of people that make it to the end. been up there when there was over 50 up there at the time. and i had passed a bunch of people on the way up. that waterfall to the north of the reservoir i believe is slickling falls.
