Belize City is the country's most popular tourist resort town, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, is located in the Belize District as is the famous Mayan ruin of Altun Ha, the Belize Zoo and well-known wildlife sanctuaries.
However if you want a good experience on how many locals get their fruits and veggies you'll need to try the local Belize farmer's markets they are all over Belize today I'm checking out a Market in Belize City, Belize by the main Bus Terminal in Belize.

I went to Belize City about 25 years ago and I am happy to see it has improved, which does not say much, the people there deserve better conditions, but lack of an industry to bring real money really put them at a disadvantage.

My my my, got to love the ladies of Belize, just like the Haitians and Colombian women nice sweet chunky hips, my my my. Looks like they eat very well in Belize lots lots of natural healthy food in the markets and I bet the prices are way low, and you can notice it in the people also, not like those expensive dry up veggies, fruits etc we get here in New York

The streets and markets service roads are cleaned. I told my uncle that I would visit him in Belize and never did until he went back to Canada and died, but buried in Florida, USA. I guess I will visit this island in the future because I have always wanted to go there. Thank you Philly Dom for showing us part of this beautiful island!

This reminds me of my city, Guadalajara, (Mexico) but “emptier” (Guadalajara, is crowded) and WAY cleaner (Also, it really seems safer). I’m very impressed. Many folks around the world, might say, it’s the government (and maybe there’s some truth in that) but I really think it’s especially the people. So congrats, Belize. All those fresh fruit. All I'd need is fresh water and a blender to make smoothies, and that would be my food.👌🏿 Notice the correlation between the fruit & vegetable stands vs. Obesity. There are hardly any obese people there...hardly any people on walkers and riding around in wheelchairs like here in the states. These people have it made and they don't even know it. I still don't understand why people leave these beautiful countries to come here to the United States....the U.S. is an illusion...this is not the greatest country on the planet.

The area looks like it lacks quality resources compared to other urban areas, cities; lack in wealth, cleanliness. The video provided us a lot of information on living qualities, even though the produce (fruits and vegetables) look very nice. I wonder what the city of Belize government provide for its people and what the people provide to the government in the way of taxes? Also the government departments and agencies, outside political assistance? Police, fire, ambulance, health, schools, jobs, etc.?
