Grozny looks incredibly nice compared to the pictures of devastation I saw. Also I was expecting double language (not just russian) and as well a setup decoupled from the rest of russia. The Second Chechen war started with an attack of chechens led by Basaev on the neighouting Dagestan in August 1999 The video gives an impression as if Russia started the war under some kind of false pretenses

@@KettyFey it was proven in your deranged imagination. There was literally an attack of several thousand armed terrorists on a neighboring region from Chechnya one month prior to these bombings. Not even mentioning hosting terrorist groups from all over the Middle East (like Hattab) in Chechnya, a series of kidnappings of Russian officials and the list goes on. Yeah, sure, Russia had to blow up several buildings in its own cities to find a reason to start the war. Exactly the same bs as Russia shelled Donbas for 8 years to blame it on Ukraine, Russia blew up Nord Stream, Russia cut off gas to Europe etc

Pretty cool. Russia and central Asia are on my bucket list. I want to see the Orthodox church where there is a mosaic of Yuri Garguran and the other 2 of the first 3 cosmonauts on the outside and it's quite worth seeing the inside. I'm sure you know where it's located.
