Even planned though, 1 it doesn't make sense from a logic standpoint and 2 the timer runs out just before he would have died. It's not like he switches to a defensive strategy in hopes of getting teleported if he can just last long enough. It's just not well written.

I don't remember how much knowledge we're given of the time that passes throughout the fight (before and leading up to the moment he TP's away) but I was definitely thinking about it. Bro definitely has some level of plot armor (most main characters do -- the content where that's not as true stands out for that reason) but I didn't have an issue with the scene since it was solidly set up and foreshadowed.

22:20 yeah they left out some important context on that daily quest thing. Before going into that dungeon, bro had a moment where he thought to himself if he should do his daily quests. However, he thought that the dungeon was going to be light work, like he for sure thought he would clear the dungeon before the end of the day. So it just so happened that when he failed to clear the dungeon, the punishment zone saved his ass. So the whole jumping into the dungeon and expecting to clear it and have enough time for his dailies was low-key like his "Nah I'd win" moment
