I've been down those roads! Just a little further past Lake Henshaw is Julian Pie Co. Nothing better on a cold day (or night) than a slice of warm apple pie and a hot cup of coffee! Thanks for giving us the tour!

Even if you're not a good cook at home, food at camp just always tastes better ;P

Your living the dream man, nice. I'm looking at doing something similar here in England, but the way the weather is at the moment I might need a jet ski rather than my Enfield. 🌧

Where are you in England ? I get over there quite a bit with the band. I have a standing offer from Triumph for a factory tour

I've been interested in using the firebox stove. Like you, I live in the desert and finding wood isn't always easy when camping, so the pellets seem like a good option. I've ridden that stretch of highway coming out of Palm Desert before on my Harley. Great riding. Thanks for taking us along!

Nice Video, a cool way home if you haven't ridden it is from Lake Henshaw to Borrego Springs to Mecca hit up Box Cyn and roll through Joshua Tree back home. Might make for a interesting loop.

Curious of what tent you used. And what type of sleeping bag and pad you had ? I use an ex ped down pad crazy warm

Hi there. Thanks for watching. I had the Kelty dirt motel 2 on that trip which I really like. I was using a cot cuz I’m a side sleeper. However , I now use the zen bivy light bed system. I’ll have a video out in it soon. It’s more if a quilt type set up. Really like it.
