The rest of the trip was Jackson, Yellowstone, up over the border to ride the Beartooth Highway, and down to Cody via Chief Joseph Highway. My wife is a native New Yorker, and I am from Wyoming. It was fun to show her how beautiful the west can be. Great job filming!

In early June 1975 I drove from Wilmington NC where it was about 90 degrees to Yellowstone National Park where it was cold. The Ranger asked me at the entrance did I have tire chains because the snow was 8' deep on the sides of the roads in places. But I was able to get around the park in my Mustang on the roads that were kept clear. I heard on the radio after I left that the park had closed due to a snow storm....

I love riding around there on my BMW R1200 GSA. I can get to those spots you’re seeing afar. Try it the next time.
