That’s huge to hear man! It’s taking longer than expected but the 4:1 part was the reason I started doing KZbin so I don’t wanna mess it up. When you run to the other side after a flame wall in 4:1, you run all the way back and do 1:0 on the melee hand. Then immediately run back to the middle and start 4:1. You'll stay in the cycle. I use this for acid as well and never break the cycle but avoid the ridiculous acid run.

oooh I like that alternative. I do something similar to that with crystal bombs. so maybe this could help. When the attack is crystal bombs and I cant (option 1) tank an extra hit then 3:1 to fix or (option 2) ignore and do 4 :1 and tank it, I'll go all the way (option 3) left like you're saying, but on the way back to the right, (from the middle of the room!) I'll tank 1 hit then attack the melee hand. you get 2 hits off if you time it correctly but if you do damage and the head turns right (almost guaranteed if melee thrall out) then you're actually just in 4:1 right away with a mid skip. even if you only do 1 hit its fine as you time it correctly lol If you're late/hit 2 0s and no thrall the head goes middle. but you just tank a hit and go to the right (as if you're in 4:1) and that hit going right is the special. Man i feel like all this extra text was confusing lmao It's literally what you said except you tank a hit after running back from the left and get 2 hits -> mid skip > 4:1.

Your videos are literally the only ones that i understand and actually help me. Is there any way you can make an in depth video of the head phase end of olm? I can consistently get to olm head phase by 50ish minutes on a solo CM because of your videos, but then its 50/50 if I survive head phase lol. Im running around like a chicken without its head.

Lmao sounds just like me! Yeah for sure, I can’t promise it’ll be before the part 2 but I’ll for sure be making it. For now I’ll say this: if you know what a trapezoid shape is; I kinda run in that pattern so I’ll move diagonally when I reach the far left or right sides. That way rocks get dodged cause there’s the rock that targets a spot you were on (why we move diagonally so we don’t hit it when we turn around) and the rest of the rocks are random. I hope it helps for now lol head phases would take the most effort for me for a long time lmao and I’m still not too hot at it, but I appreciate you watching! I’m glad it helps! (:

Why not skip the flame wall from the ring finger instead of from the middle(index) finger? Cause as far as I know doing that let's you continue the 4:1 cycle as normal; you skip the wall and hit, hit again from thumb on his null auto, run middle to dodge the next auto and hit the hand at the thumb. THEN, spam click past the flame wall and you will move into the melee safespot just in time to skip specials, maintaining the 4:1 cycle

You’re right and you make a good point. However, my bad lol this wasn’t a video on how to do flame walls correctly, but how to fix them when you do them incorrectly. Overall what you said works but the spam click part is a bit aids, you really should be backing away towards the wall between your second and 3rdhits when olms gunna hit you so you can dodge or null the wall and still make it in time.. if you back up two tiles (1 tile on the shorter side of Olm) then the wall won’t be in the way and you won’t have to spam click at all (you can see this example in any of my 4:1 vids) I’m not 100% sure on this but also with spam clicking if it’s scuffed v unscuffed may make a difference if you make it when you spam click. It wasn’t mentioned before because it’s not a common method ppl do (referring to spam clicking) once you move past learner stages. But I believe this to be true because when you do mage 7:3 with 4 scythe and 3 mage hits, you have to move differently to dodge potential flame walls when you’re meleeing. But that may have to do with scythe lol

@@ThePerfectG Hey man thanks for the reply and great vids from what I've seen so far. Yep I think you're right actually, that makes sense cause afaik the scuffed flame wall is 1t delayed right? So it would take 1t extra to dissapear meaning spam clicking wouldn't skip special. I guess nulling it is ideal - I'm a bit new to solos but I'll start trying to do that instead

@@UmarKhan-yy5zx It's my pleasure! Thanks for the kind words :) You don't have to specifically null the wall, but on the side of Olm where you have to run 3 tiles from pinky to get to the wall, you can back out 2 tiles towards the wall (instead of 3) and move inwards for ur 3rd hit.

not specifically. I have lots of runs on the channel of solos and duos with different acid runs that happen to be in them. Theres a channel Synderis who has some 4:1 content as well. His 4:1 video i think shows an acid walk u can do, in different styles. but as far as a general rule, theres a few right ways to do the acid walk, and as long as ur gettin ur 4 hits in its ok to take some damage if u have to/mess up! but i'll admit only takin 2 is nice haha if u need any help feel free to ask dude! appreciate ya checkin out the vid!

@@bobbyjonesfoo those are definitely good traits to have lol I kinda go over mage skipping a bit in my duo guide but really in trio+ you can run head and learn to follow instruction to set it mage, and you’ll see what mage skipping is: it’s better and less effort than melee skipping so it can’t hurt to start there 😂

@@bobbyjonesfoo yeha that shit is tough but maybe it’s cause you’re over clicking a bit? Think about it like this, the acid is gunna do like 4-6 damage average per splat so you try to move around but if moving around so much is scuffing the head then just tank the 20-30 damage until you get better at tile play. Or maybe use the middle lane a bit more between your hits, it’s fine to miss a hit if it’s the alternative to head going middle But I guess I’d have to raid with ya to see xD maybe there’s too many ppl with you and the RUnners aren’t DDing on the same spot, could be a few things but you’ll definitely get better at it the more you try, idt I learned how to melee and mage skip til around 900 kc lol
