From a woman, mother and grandmother, I really appreciate you using AF. The words do not hurt my feelings, however, I'm here to learn and I want to be able to let my grandson watch too. Teaching the knots, that is outstanding! The perspective of developing shelters over time, that it doesn't need to be complete from the beginning, but you end up with a foundation, that is outstanding. That perspective inspires and takes the pressure off of beginners like me. Thank you for this great content. Subscribed.

when I was in the army we flew down to Cheju Island for an exercise in repelling. On the way down we were on a C 130 and our Lt. did not fly well. Our sgt decided to pull a trick on the Lt. 1/2 way down the sgt pretended to get sick and used a his barf bag. later he pulled out the bag and said loudly that he felt better and was hungry. What he had barfed in the bag was dinty moore beef stew, and now he was eating that. As soon as the Lt seen himg eating what he though was the barf, he let loose, I mean really bad barfing, we all know the joke but no way were we going to tell the Lt.

Just letting you know, I tried to do my part as a long time subscriber and unofficial student of yours to support the channel. I watched your videos for hours until I didn't have to scroll down to find one of your videos, meaning it was the next in the playlist. I let the playlist run in the background and did this for a solid 6 hours or more and continued the next morning. It is true that KZbin no longer sends me notifications from your videos. I have selected all notifications on your videos on the KZbin app and do not receive any notifications from them. I have joined the email list so that I will never miss a single video. From time to time I will spend a large number of hours replaying your videos in the background to try and get your videos towards the top of KZbin's recommended list, this way you will be able to reach a larger audience, subsequently keeping you around for years to come. Love the content, keep up the good work, I'm on the edge of my seat to see what's next in store from the Corporal.

Hey Corporal, Did you anchor the ends of the a-frame poles into the side walls or just cut to length so they fit snug? Could have used that augur in your rocket stove video to put in a pocket for the base of those poles. That would hold them even more secure. Also, been looking back at older vids of yours but cant find what size that canvas tarp is???? I am thinking of building the same type shelter up where I hunt this coming summer. Tired of the 1 1/2 mile stomp in the dark to hunt around some awesome meadows. Build a shelter like that near that small pond hidden in a thicket and then just a 1/2 mile to those meadows. Make my own little fort in the woods.

Shawn, my father passed away Monday morning. He was declared terminal in 2007 he fought until 2020 and never quit. He was still sharp of mind when he body gave out. He was ex-Air Force, did security, law enforcement, construction (he helped build 3 Mile Island). He was made an honorary Civilian Crisis Response Team member the day he passed away. He was my biggest influence to get into camping, bushcraft, to serve and protect and to take my oath of enlistment. I was wondering if during your shoutout time on your net vid you could give him one? Barry Wendell Jeffrey Sr.
