What a treat this was to watch and listen to Pete. Inspirational. Your woodland bed and mattress worked a treat. I too like the combination of a millbank bag, sawyer mini and boiling my collected water. Time out, spent in woodland no matter how near or far from civilization is time well spent. Thank you for sharing. Happy wandering. Paul :)

Great video... I enjoy the sound of radio during the night keeps my mind busy. Pete the water system is really cool a suggestion next time hang your bottle with rope slightly close the sewger water mini not to tight and it will flow freely that way you can reuse the plastic bottle again.

Great video Pete! I enjoyed this video very much and also the fact that it was longer! The woodgas stove looks great and the cooking on it very delicious! Can't wait to get out and do my first hammock overnighter in this year soon. Keep the videos coming! PS: The shaving scene, just brilliant :)

Enjoyed the camp work along with bread making and water filtration. I have the Platypus gravity system and your video has encouraged me to get to practicing with it. Grew up with friends taking out to the woodland myself, atb.

Thanks for responding, your icon disappeared from my list which I thought was odd, but I agree about KZbin being a little strange lately, poses the question, what else is going on?

Great vid, really enjoyed it. I have yet to find one of those electric razors that can cope with the variation in voltage from a tree supply. The camp was awesome, a lot of work in a very short time, loved the cooking. I bought a DAB radio to take out, I like 4Xtra, but turned it off after a few minutes, as it freaked me out. Thanks for sharing, keep on keeping on.

Superb wild camp site. I like the available electric socket for your morning shave, so considerate these forestry bods aren't they? The general set up was spot on and it would take better than 20/20 vision to spot that one even if they were stood right beside it, though the dulcet tones of the bbc radio programme drifting out of your camp may raise an eyebrow or two. That bread, bacon and egg made my mouth water something terrible. Great and enjoyable video. Take care...
