Very smart and practical using a tarp over the tent. I always puzzle over complaints about leaking tents by folks not bothering to use a tarp over the tent for protection and, as you wisely did, useable outdoor space. My cynical assumption is that all tents leak and some are more leaky than others (with apologies to George Orwell).

Canvas takes ages to dry so covering with a tarp canopy is a brilliant idea

Nice video, retro with canvas, spirit burner and candle. My sort of outing. Had the Trangia out today for some lunch in the woods.

Excellent and tranquil camp buddy! silly question but did the Dutch army leak at all where the tarp didn't cover?? I'm thinking of Fabsil mine but would still run the tarp I think for greater functionality!!😁✌💚

@3:02 What are these called please? Where can you get them?
@ManDogWild3 жыл бұрын
Hey bud! They came with a Quechua tarp, I’ve actually scoured the web looking to buy some individually and I can’t find them at all. The tarp they came with was the Quechua Multi-Function Tarp
