It's weird but validating to see this as a challenge for people. This is my everyday life but with one, I can't imagine having two. It's so hard on your own especially when the other parent is not involved. I find the most challenging part is explaining why the other parent is absent. The psychical side is bareable on your own, it's the emotional side that is hard. You're an amzing mum!

I was there. My boys are 15 months apart. It was like having twins. They’re grown now, the best of friends (yes, they still fight but they’re very close). My husband works long hours (at the time, he was working nights), so for the first year of our kids’ lives, we were both walking zombies. I think you’re doing great. Just getting yourself dressed with make up on is a huge feat. Honestly, I was lucky to get my boys out the door on time for story time at our local library. Besides being completely exhausted, I spent a bulk of my day pumping since nursing didn’t come easy for me. Finally I gave in & started supplementing with formula which made things a lot easier. It does get better. Still, treasure every moment because it goes by way too fast.

I did this all by myself from the age of 18 while working 40/50 hours a week. Id have LOVED this life. Spending all day every day with my baby instead of havimg to smile and pretend i give a shxt about my clients 1st world problems so theyll give me a decent tip to help with taking care of my kid. Why do influencers expect a prize for doing what "normal" people do on the daily and dont get paid anywhere near what they do. I like that they dont show the babies' faces, but i think thats Abbeys doing.

It's hard to be a single parent, definitely, but it's also crazy hard to make up a team of two people that never lose love for each other, know how to keep the relationship alive, parent together as a team, and be happy (struggles come with it, no doubt) at the same time. Some people couldn't do it even in 50 lifetimes. I look up to you in that.

I hope so nothing like grandparents for the children to enjoy and be a big part of their lives. I had no doubt you could do this, your a super woman...brave, and tough. You had your mom and grandma there. That alone provides emotional support. Also, your toddler watching Mickey with them provides some relief for you as you don’t have to monitor 100%. And if they were not there he may have been hanging on your leg, seeking your attention, making a mess, a plethora of things. You’re a great mom, but don’t try to compare this to solo parenting. @@Didennewow a rude person who knocked stay at home parents for not having a job even though they’re caring more for their kids than the average working parent and now is judging the creator of the video too. I doubt you have kids and even if you do I bet someone else is watching them for you while you get to work your 12 hours 😂

Two that little by yourself is A LOT! You did so good balancing breast feeding and your toddler! I had one crazy boy by myself and that was enough! He’s 11 now ❤

Hi, I'm usually a silent follower but I just had to say that you are the greatest mom to your babies (Matt is also amazing with them, haha just had to include so that he does not feel out) I bet Matt was so proud of you for doing so good with the kids. Lastly I just want to say that I love you guys so so much, you are amazing and an inspiration to everyone. Love Ronel from South Africa ❤️ 🇿🇦

Dear Abby, I have been solo parenting for the last three years as a mother of three, one of them a special needs child. A million other mothers have been on their own with their kids too. But your ego demands praise and compassion for this accomplishment

susanneklein8113 Abby's parents live with them so, they help out with their grandkids. I don't believe Abby should compare herself to solo parenting. Just my opinion.

A normal day for me. I have a 16 month old and a just turned 3 year old. I'm also breastfeeding my 16 month old, and I'm sure she has an addiction😂. My family members and friends either live far away, or work full time, or are ill, or have passed away (namely my mother and brother) For anyone else in a position similar to mine, I would say that so long as you're doing your best, do not feel guilty. Don't put undue pressure on yourself. It's ok if your house isn't pristine, it's ok if you leave the dished till the following morning if you just don't have the energy at night. Try not to compare yourself to others. Go at your own pace and congratulate yourself at the end of the day.

I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and most days I’m in straight up survival mode when my partner is at work. I either do morning/ afternoons alone or afternoons/ night time and those are always the hardest parts of the day with my kiddos. My mental health has been tanking and I still haven’t successfully left the house with them alone yet. No matter your situation, we need to respect one another and acknowledge the struggles or experiences despite something being average or easy for another mama.❤

There arr 17 months between my son and daughter, the first 2 years where joyfull but a complete daze haha. Dishes piled up sometimes didnt bath for days, my youngest slept on me fof 6 months due to bad eczema. Got through it now 5 and 4 both at full time school and miss it. Slowly starting to sort house. Enjoy every second of it goes far too fast. Xx. When my husband first went back to work after paternity leave i just spent the day cuddling them, feeding and nappy changing. After about a month they both napped at same time, that was a true blessing so i slept too ha.
