Really love this, even if it's a solo Batrep. My only complaint is asking you to speak up a little, since it's hard to hear without cranking the volume up by a bit. Also, if I was the HDF, I would be soooooo angry that the Plague Havoc Disciples kept failing their saves but passing their regeneration. That blob of zombies took tons of damage

Yep, I tried a different setup on my last video that seems to have improved the quality of the voice audio. This was one of my first games of GDF and I should probably do a rematch with the HDF having more Rending weapons. Thanks for watching

I had to watch this when I saw it was a "Sad and Lonely Gamer" who was doing solo play! Lovely presentation here, very steady camera work, which is essential for video battle reports. Lovely work on the miniatures and the terrain. I am also interested in the Grimdark Future and Age of Fantasy rule sets. Having moved country, I haven't got a group to play with, but hopefully I will be able to get some games in now that I have got my scenery finished.

Thanks. I use grey car primer (Halfords in the UK) for the base then the camo stripes / blotches are Vallejo Khaki Grey. Shade the whole thing in Agrax Earthshade then dry-brush with Vallejo Beige.

Great batrep and great showcase of the AI rules! That 5+ regen seems a bit overpowered 😮

Thanks. Some armies can upgrade to a 4+!!! WIth the latest version of the core rules, Regen doesn't work against Rend weapons, so that's one way round it. Another solution might be Blast, Flux or Poison weapons to inflict additional hits; inflict as many wounds as possible to maximise the chances of some of them getting through. Thanks for watching.

I watched a GF game from another KZbin channel and Regen seemed broken in that game as well (one where the dice weren’t so egregiously lopsided). Imho, Regen should probably be a 6+. I’d rather say a 9+ on a d10 to split the difference, but that’s breaking the boundaries of the idea this is a d6-only game. The pyramid robots could pay for an upgrade to get an 8+ or even 7+ Regen on a d10 and still not be as broken as 4+ on a d6. I enjoyed the batrep despite the crazy dice results. Subbed! :-D
