Solo Rigging A Top With A Great View

Crown lifting and solo rigging, removing a very bendy larch top - Oh and there was a great view :-). In this video I worked on a local school on a weekend to remove some low branches and tidy up a couple larch trees.

10” panther bar and chain is the one! Got that on my echo and it’s such a workhorse. Always surprising too what brash you can get in a van. Great work mate nice set up. All the best

I’ve climbed for 15 years and I hate using 2 ropes …. I do it so that the industry is recognised as professional and not unprofessional.

No good for the industry mate !! No rescue climber , no one would be there if an accident was to happen !! That’s why we get the bad name and shit money for the skilled job we do . Be professional Matt if your doing it on your own do it right mate

I did take this into consideration and had a rescue plan. I am a professional and would not take on anything I that was out of my comfort zone on unsafe. Thanks for your comment though.
