Solo Sail to Calais Part 3

We’re looking at a Seahawk. How do you find the high cockpit? Heard that you can feel very exposed? We love the look of it though.

That's not been my experience. I feel less exposed in a centre cockpit. Wife and kids report that they feel further away from the water and therefore safer. Better for marina handling too as you are that bit closer to the bow. The only down side is visibility under the jib can be a bit iffy. But you can always roll it in a turn or two. Good luck!
