Solo Sea Kayaking Scotland - The Sound of Barra
The outer Hebrides off the west coast of the Scottish highlands is a superb place to sea Kayak.
This solo trip, from the Isle of Barra over to the Isle of Eriskay is a great trip that`s been on my wish list for some time, with fantastic views, a very rugged island coast line, full exposure to the elements and great wild life potential.

June 2024. 3m-4m metre troughs driven by 30mph winds for us 2 weeks go in the Sound of Barra! Soup exited the pot. The pot was on a mother ship! We didn’t paddle.

@@getwet501 Nice! That's been my go-to camera for the last couple of years (and 4K as well). Just upgraded to a GoPro 12, definitely a step up, but the 9 has done well and will come along also for a second angle 🙂

Thanks Paul. My kayak is a North shore Ocean 17 in Carbon Kevlar construction. I'm a big fan of it, handles very well empty or fully loaded
