Yeah, I am not sure what the devs were thinking with this whole 'solo server' setting. Obviously, it is not going to work. People will cooperate without the group feature. In fact, people usually do so on any server to avoid the group combat timer, so they can heal. This is nothing new and does not work. Could have told them myself before they even implemented it.

@@MorbidSenseOfHumor Moderating would be better. Debuffs wouldnt work that well because people would exploit that. Imagine you are a trike and a small raptor decides to hang around you. You cannot run away from it. You get debuffed, only for the raptor to call its 10 friends on other dinos to kill your debuffed trike. Imho, devs should moderate the official solo servers and hand out punishments.

People are so bad at the game by themselves. That’s why they HAVE to group no matter what. They cannot fathom playing solo. Very annoying. The fact they chose to play on solo servers and still group shows how cowardly and bad they are at the game. This is why as a solo player myself I only play Hatz, Sarco, sucho, laten, struthi, meg. That way i can still win a fight or get away from the grouping cowards

@@a12jdb Yep. Hopefully they figure out a way to enforce the rules. Maybe they can add status ailments to people grouping and mix packing. Health drain, damage nerfs, movement speed nerfs, hunger and thirst severely drains

I was in a similar fight with I think the same land Dino’s on my Meg in solos. They definitely fight there a lot if not everyday. I haven’t been on solos in a little while. As a Meg I helped the semis, we were some suchos, and sarcos. At 31:46 the blue Gecko Meg that’s me. I just got to GP saw everything and this pycno came for me that’s how I got involved. I was totally random. That’s crazy…

This is no longer a 1 player game. Until we get NPC nested Dino’s. Maybe one day a player can grow his own 5 man team.

The issue is the limited server count for the game mode. People can’t just choose to leave the server that has a group running around killing solos and join another one. If that were a viable option these groups would be fighting tooth and nail to find each other on a populated server, all the while the majority of solo players aren’t being bothered by them because it would realistically take forever. Another thing they should be doing is server selection logic where you can’t join people on your friends list while keeping that logic under wraps so the general playerbase has no idea what’s keeping them from joining the same server as their friends. The devs didn’t make this on a flimsy thought, they made the gamemode based on critical feedback from a large chunk of their playerbase. There are a LOT more players on Path of Titans than the regulars and randos you see on official servers. As someone who frequents both official and community servers and as a solo player the overwhelming majority of the time, the issues they’re trying to address are genuinely critical problems that need fixing if they wish to maintain the large playerbase they have. I myself have gotten sick of the game because of its repetition in these fronts. It’s always a mixed species and mixed diet herd on officials covering every conceivable weakness one player could have and bullying them to the character select screen because “how dare you breathe our simulated air”. It’s not fun, it really isn’t. A lot of my most recent time in the game has been spent on deathmatch servers because somehow dealing with a few people in that environment is way more tolerable than dealing with 14 people all broadcasting your location to each other just to hunt you down because they have nothing better to do. It’s a fundamental problem for what is technically a minority, though a large one. If these game modes weren’t conceived, a lot of players would have dropped off. The game could have potentially died off due to the neglect of these kinds of players. It *is* a dinosaur game where you pretend you’re a dinosaur, with friends or without. It’s gonna attract the less social people because as an autist myself I can vouch for a lot of my kin in that regard that we fuckin love dinosaurs. They’re awesome. There’s literally not much else cooler than dinosaurs besides John Cena or boobs 😂 but what’s not cool is having your dinosaur you spent a week growing in your free time get systematically hunted down by coordinated young adults with nothing better to do in their time spent on the game that beat you in weight, damage, numbers, statuses, speed and available terrain advantages. Your channel is pretty damn dedicated to official servers so I reckon you don’t spend a LOT of time on community servers like I have, but the same problems exist there but with the twist of only herbivores being allowed to mix species, which is still a very unfair advantage that is abused en masse and makes carnivore players, especially the solo ones, suffer needlessly. And that’s on the servers that have the most rules. It’s kind of ridiculous. You can’t balance a game around groups of people working together and then expect the solo players to thrive while giving them limited tools that can also be utilized and abused by the very groups they’re meant to counteract. It’s a hard thing to work around and I give props to the devs for actually listening.

I'd say they record the server and when a player reports about a mixed pack or homecave camping which still happens on the game they can go back and review the video of the game and do what they feel is appropriate to the players like take away growth from their dinos or something that would make them rethink their game play

10 plus hours on my struthi saw a sucho getting attacked by another struthi and sty, I decided to help the sucho. Took down the sty and the sucho didn't help me finish off the struthi though. Thanks Champ!! Won't be making that mistake twice. No one have integrity anymore??

I dont think the goal was to really stop people being together but to stop the whole group effects and stuff so its more of just a straight fight. My issue was mix packing and everytime u killed something they cried in chat and everyone came a runnin

The fact that all these people are working together with random strangers than in groups is funny. Those megs going to war for you and everyone recognizing who the enemy is is surprising. 'Solo' players have much better coordination of who is helping them and who isnt it seems

Been working fine for me and most days playing didn't even see anyone on a 80 pop day tells me players are more in survival mode which is better and there is 0 ways to make a solo game online so face it . Go back to single player games if u want a true solo experience bro
