I agree. Some KZbinrs just fly through the encounters with no explanations or anything. I don't care how good someone is, if they are not explaining themselves as they go, then they are wasting my time. I like watching, even though I don't do dungeons or raids. they take too long. I don't get the benefit of getting the cool weapons, but I still got to 1589 none the less.

A tip for the knock back on Akelous: you can hide underneath the metal walkway to avoid the knock back. Just stay near one of the holes and drop down as damage ends. Titans can also use their barricade.

great guide as usual. on a side note if you need full ammo just go to the enclave, past the crafting station, down the steps and stand and your ammo fill auto so no need to look for a rally. Its what I do at least.

My problem with the ammo generation is that it will usually spawn from the harpies and then fall into the abyss below. Osteo Striga has been an absolute life saver for doing these runs though. I'm gonna have to craft the Taipan again I was using the Fire and Forget, but your doing about 10,000 more damage per shot versus what I'm getting with the 3 burst. Thanks for the help. Ready for lightfall dlc to drop.

You can also go to the enclave where the disks you shoot are and wait 10-15 seconds and you will get Full Ammo on everything

I thought that previous jumping 'puzzles' were bad, but this is insane and the worst since in Destiny history! I'm happy with fighting but just can't see the reasoning for the crazy jumping. Very impressive tutorial but I'll just enjoy watching an expert like you!

Just finished master with my clan. This is slow motion compared to that. Everyone should be able to solo this with Ebontis guide, solo operative, weakened clear, amo finders, witherhoards and a Taipen MWd w focus fury and triple tap. Solar Titan is the easiest subclass to solo this so take advantage of the class mods as they will only be available thru the season.

Taking the heal on melee fragment y makes me feel weird too, but it helps that it procs on finishers, pairs well the invis on finishers if you REALLY need survivability, but that's usually overkill

The reason i run double special for the first boss is with your special out you get so many heavy drops and with your heavy out you get so much special when killing enemies even if its with a melee or grenade. And 2nd reason is trace rifles are kinda OP haha

Switch to your heavy weapon then melee kill or when poison is applied quickly switch to heavy, then upon enemy death = heavy ammo drops

Ammo drops usually from weapon kills other than the weapon type you are using. For example, kill with your special or primary ammo weapon to get heavy. Kills with primary or power ammo to get special and so forth. I don't think the poison kills from Osteo count as weapon kills, so that could be why you were having so many problems getting heavy to drop.

When I need heavy doing dungeons solo I'll get multi-kills with a primary ONLY, then kill a major with a special weapon ONLY, and it usually works. In my experience, blending damage types doesn't work as well. Hope that helps.

Great video and guide as always, but I swear you play a different version of destiny than I do, your gameplay just looks so smooth and chill, while my games always seem 5x more chaotic than yours. For example the second encounter, you are just running around unlocking all the nodes so easily, my game…that damn harpy boss is constantly (and I mean CONSTANTLY) following me around lighting my ass up while I’m trying the get everything done.

Think your ammo problem comes from not getting enough kills with your special weapon out, almost everytime you used your GL you immediately switched to primary to finish kills therefore getting special ammo while having your primary in hand on kill

I found when got grenade launcher on heavy drops less in some activities so I took it off then using a primary exotic had loads of heavy brics then put g.l back on after special ammo easy to drop lol

Great guide and it helped me alot. I solod it to final boss so far but havent beat it yet. Yeah as a solo I often really have a hard time cuz of the lack of heavy ammo dropping. I waste so much time trying to get just 1 damn brick and heavy ammo mods barely help it seems so I dont bother. So ive tried some different loadouts and builds and found that I really like the perk "Target Lock" which I got on my Lmg. It makes my Lmg a much more viable option to use cuz it makes them decent for boss dps. I want to use my Lmg alot of times but dont wanna sacrifice a strong dps power weapon but now I dont feel so bad choosing my Lmg. I have Solo Operative for +15% damage, Charged With Light for +15% damage and Boss Spec mod for another 15% damage combined with Target Lock which ramps up to 40% damage on sustained damage so im almost doubling damage and it's been working well for me. I really like using Lmg for this dungeon but power ammo economy is often very rough cuz I dont like sacrificing my helmet and leg mods for ammo mods cuz it messes my build up and survivability since I like orbs and healing from orbs and charged with light. Anyways I really think it's a clever perk Bungie added to buff Lmgs for boss damage. I wonder what other weapons can get Target Lock? Feel like it would make me more interested in using trace rifles if they could get that perk too.

Finding heavy ammo always sucks. What seems to work best for me, is sword ammo finder. Doesn't matter what my heavy weapon is, just seems like the purple bricks drop sooner with sword ammo finder
