That Wild Dog is famous if you didn’t know she’s ‘SOLO The Lone Wild Dog’ she had a documentary done on her and she created a pack of Hyena’s & Jackal’s and was pretty much the alpha. 😂😂it’s been years I wonder where she is if she’s Alive.

John Mahugu that wild dog. Held its own against a small male hyena. Im pretty sure theres dogs 150 to 200 pounds that can rag that small male hyena. But a female hyena is way too agressive and weighs 150 to 190 pounds male hyenas are 80 to 130 pounds and will kill any domestic dog.

Solo is brave and not easily intimidated by hyenas since she is used to them because she use to live with a hyena clan. Although she is brave this is dangerous for her because if the agitated hyena is able to catch her she will have no backup to save her and may be killed. She wouldn't have reclaimed her kill from that single hyena anyway.

Actually the African Wild Dog has a a stronger bite force compared to size than the Hyena. In real life, the dog would have a similar bite strength as the hyena - quite astounding given the dog is much smaller than the hyena.

The dog was only trying to harrass/annoy the Hyena to give up the food, it is quicker so..... but fight? lol, the Hyena would rip that poor thing to pieces... it didnt gave up the "fight" when one more Hyena came, it only knew it couldnt use that strategy anymore as 1 Hyena could now chase him 24-7 and the other finish up the food....

Ah! At least things are getting more honest now--now it's only ONE documentary...and it started out as "several." Also interesting to infer (apparently) that you came to this conclusion yourself. In fact (and contrary to most people's impressions), when pack animals take an animal down they attack and bite anywhere and everywhere. The most cited reason by biologists for wanting to get behind is to "hamstring" the animal, so it can't continue to run well.
