Impossible, although hyenas and wild dogs are so similar, they are not close species : hyenas are feliformia, and wild dogs are caniformia. Actually both species looking similar is due to convergent evolution : 2 different species evolving in the same environment develop similar features. You can see that in many species, the praying mantis and the mantispe (both insects but different orders) are very similar, but not closely related.
