It seems to me, that you went to Chichibu to experience the train ? Is it worth it ? I think it looks pretty cool, but not totally different from "normal" Shinkansen in Japan.

I think the Laview train is quite worth the trip, especially if you're looking for an escape out of Tokyo. The design is quite unique. Those giant windows make the whole journey feel like a sightseeing tour. Plus, it's cheaper than a Shinkansen train ticket. 😉 I didn't have time to explore Chichibu fully, but the town itself seems to have some cool spots like the Mitsumine Shrine and Hitsujiyama Park.
