I agree, sometimes I think I dumb myself down so as not to give of the wrong impression, but honestly I wear nice things for me, as a woman I just like to feel I look nice and that's that. I do often change into something a bit less dressy or smart/elegant because when travelling solo, you imagine people think you want attention. That is not the case for me, I just love nice clothes, but depending on other travellers, I may dress down which is daft. I should add that I am grown AF middle aged, but I still love dressing up lol.
