I agree, sometimes I think I dumb myself down so as not to give of the wrong impression, but honestly I wear nice things for me, as a woman I just like to feel I look nice and that's that. I do often change into something a bit less dressy or smart/elegant because when travelling solo, you imagine people think you want attention. That is not the case for me, I just love nice clothes, but depending on other travellers, I may dress down which is daft. I should add that I am grown AF middle aged, but I still love dressing up lol.

I liked how you did the Q&A about how the habit that you developed years before created your 4-2-1 schedule. I've not yet reached a point in my life where I can go on a solo trip, part of it is anxiety but mostly it's money.... It comes out cheaper if you go as a group and split the price of everything. HOWEVER, this year I'm going to the Eras tour by myself. It's the second concert I'll attend by myself, but the first one that's out of the country. I'm nervous about the technical stuff but, I can't wait for it!

I can definitely relate as an only child. I thrive being alone and productive. I like being around other people, but talking to strangers and making friends does not come naturally to me. It takes me a while to warm up to people and break out of my shell. As a former hotel staff, I must say the man who manages the waiters was acting really unprofessional by approaching you like that and even worse what he did on your check out day (calling out to the chef).
