[Solo trip to shrines and temples] Visiting goshuin stamps in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture

A journey to find 500 recommended Goshuin stamps that I received based on my own opinion and prejudice!
This time, we visited shrines and temples in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, where goshuin stamps are popular.

喜多院に参拝に上がったので、山門向い側の日枝神社と喜多院隣接の東照宮に参拝に上がるのかと思いきや、お昼ご飯からの川越八幡宮へとは。 日枝神社の本殿は国指定重要文化財なので、是非参拝に上がって欲しかったです。 無人の神社ですが賽銭箱脇に書置きの御朱印が用意されています。

川越八幡宮の夫婦イチョウはオスとメスの二本の銀杏の木。大きくなって根本部分は一本の木の幹に見える事から夫婦円満の御利益があるそうです。また、オスの木とメスの木が寄り添っているので毎年実がなり、子宝の御利益もあるそうです。秋になると黄色に色付きますが、色付くタイミング若干異なるそうです。片方の木の葉が黄色で、片方の木の葉が緑の時があり、二本の木の枝が重なりあっている所は、黄色と緑のまだら模様になるそうです。(^o^)/
