We really enjoyed this camp video Ben 😊🏕. We live in the city ourselves and totally get needing a fix of the outdoors and nature to sort out your mental health, it's really important and much needed. Impressed with the new DD tent ⛺️👌. Love the idea of being able to see out and feeling connected to your surroundings. We would consider one but i think it would be a little snug for the two of us and Pete is just shy of 6ft so perhaps not long enough. Liked the idea of combining it with the tarp over the top, even if it doesn't rain it offers a bit more privacy. The steak looked good 😋. Its always nice to sit and have a relaxed breakfast once your tent is down, we are fans of the belvita biscuits too!😊👍. Thanks very much for bringing us along, great to see you out and about again. We will look forward to the next one. Have a great weekend, Shell and Pete

@@benhikescamps I just had mine delivered yesterday I’m having fun practicing different ways to put it up. There’s not much on KZbin in the ways of different set ups ie ridge line, Poles ect and different tarp formations with the meshes themselves. It’s a fantastic light weight way of camping without a tipi tent. Thank you for your video.
@benhikescamps2 жыл бұрын
How are you finding the space in it Craig?
@TheOneLegWanderer2 жыл бұрын
@@benhikescamps well I have the path finder and it’s low down but the XL tipi mesh has bags of room. (I ordered both) If you don’t mind being low down the path finder is awesome. I have 1 leg so I do struggle with anything low down. I had a vango banshee tent and that was impossible but this pathfinder mesh has ample space for one or a cosy couple.

Nice one, Ben although I’d need some sky hooks for that setup on Dartmoor 😉 It is interesting these days how more awareness is being shared about how outdoors and nature is beneficial for our mental health. That setup looked mint Ben. Shame the mesh tent isn't just a tad longer though as you say. I've got my eye on the 1 man DD mesh inner for under a tarp but I bet that's the same length 😕. Glad the Forest Bathing hit the spot anyway, and you felt better walking out than walking in. Cheers mate, great vid. Rich. 👍

Nice set up Ben but sadly not big enough for me. You said you were a bit chilly overnight? I see you cleared the ground, removing a layer of insulation from under the tent. Just clear the fire site, it wont make a big difference but every little helps. Hope you are doing ok my friend, you seemed a little down at the beginning. Regards JB.
