Nice camp mate. Made me extremely jealous because that's the exact forest setting I love to camp in. I perfectly understand when you mentioned about an almost door way into a room. Pine forest for me are by far the most cozy type to camp in. I think your DD tarp is the right way and the little black strengthening triangles should be on the inside. Food looked great and the forage was epic 🤣 Keep them coming 💪 Atb Mike.

Foraged Northern Monk🤣👍, you got the DD the right was up but if you flip them over to leave the middle loops on the bottom you can hang mosquito nets off the loops.

I don't know about DD tarps I still use an old rubberised Geman poncho, been using it for 20 years. Great vid thanks for posting.

What a forage find!! 😂
@thomasbrennan58373 жыл бұрын
Far from an expert but on the screen I’m viewing the tarp looks green on one side and a lighter colour underneath so I guess the way you have it is correct , certainly in relation to camouflage, at least from above, might be made that way for this reason, great video either way,

Quite sobering to think your tarp was hanging up on relatively young trees planted by German pow's who are now long dead. 😢
