He's not wrong of course, if you're more concerned with popping the crowd than with how many people are in that crowd, you're in the wrong industry. The issue is that Brock isn't really the right person to make that comment since he's had the rocket strapped on him from the moment he went out the curtain. He was never in a position(in WWE at least) where he had to "find a way to get over", and WWE just isn't the same as it was when he started out anyway.

@@assassin923ck45 Yeah he probably doesn't do that, but to be fair I think Brock will never be one of those guys that fans accuse of being selfish or not wanting to put others over, he just strikes me as someone who sees this purely as a job he makes tons of money from and that's it. If you tell him to do a clean job, he'll do a clean job, just pay him first. lol And in the interest of fairness there are some examples like when he told McIntyre to raise the belt in their segment, or when he sold like a boss for Bryan, AJ or Balor. Lesnar clearly isn't above making guys look good in the ring, I guess it just depends on what he feels like doing or what the match happens to be. It's the oldschool mindset he talked about in the interview.

Couldve just had Brock and bobby start the match, have aj or seth come in next then have Bobby go to spear someone into the cage (where they enter from but he flys out the cage and "blows out" his knee trying to land. Looks legit, seems like an accident, bobby still doesn't get pinned and he can go off and have the real surgeries he needs. Then just have the rest play out normally. I think everyone expected Brock to win. I was by expecting them to chump out their entire main event scene THIS MUCH however. Like AJ Styles had a great match with Brock where he took Brock to the limit and the latter BARELY won. Seth Rollins has BEATEN Brock at least twice. And both are super over. I think it’s an unfair assessment on the main event. What else was supposed to happen other than Brock coming in and destroying everyone? They were supposed to get some offense in or something before Brock inevitably destroys them? Makes no sense. Plus, if you walk away from that match thinking that the only person who looked good in it was Brock then you’re far off. That final closing of the match with him and Austin will be something played on highlight reels for years to come. I think they got Theory over big time as he was getting booed during his entrance, and then people were popping for him towards the end. AJ, Seth, and Riddle all have something for Mania. This match was just as pointless to them as it was to Brock. The only things they needed to do for that match was ensure Brock would look like a beast, and Austin gets an MVP performance. I think she’s got a likable babyface vibe, she’s right up there with Chyna and Beth Phoenix in terms of being the strongest woman in the history of the company, and there’s still a story to be told with her.
