You didn't video actually putting these puppies on, did you by any chance? To be honest, I'm working with a company who wants to make these at a far less price point-under $150 and in real leather as well with optional stitching colors. No 4 month wait. There are just some question about how these work.

REV9 no longer has a wait, either. No, I didn't video putting them on because they are simple to do. All I did was mention you need to start at one side, then fit over your mirrors before putting on the other end. With these, at least, if you fit both ends before putting them around the mirrors, it becomes quite difficult to do.

I have a 124 Abarth. The thing I hate most are the sun visors. It's not the material for me, it's the practicality. $200!? I'm sorry, but not worth it in my opinion. I need aftermarket sun visors that will snap off on one side so that it can block the sun from more angles. Especially when the top is down.

Totally understand. They are pricey. I will say though, they are very well put together; so pricey - yes, but well made and good fit - also yes.

Synthetic leather sun visor cover (jackets) for the ND (2015+) MX-5 Miata. REV9. If they were real leather maybe but sadly these aren't even real leather. Nice but overly expensive.

I agree, they are expensive, but they are the only ones I could find anywhere. They look and fit very nice.

You mentioned in the video that you remove the mirror. What did you mean by that. Is it removable? How?

No. I meant you put the leather over the mirror and get that part positioned where it should be.

Hey man - every gram counts, but in this case, the ugly factor is greater than the weight factor.

Just remove them. You don't need them and they block a large portion of your view. It's s convertible. You will more than likely be wearing a hat or sunglasses anyway.

Kind of an extreme option. I use mine depending on time of day and position of the sun.

@@DropTopTees i deleted mine bc i am just at the right height where i need the 1/15 of the windshield they obscure to see red lights without stopping 15-20 feet from the light... Very specific personal situation I know.

They apparently have changed the description. It now says "synthetic leather". When I purchased mine, it said leather. I just added a note to the video description pointing that out.
