Assumption behind that is that younger people would buy lesser number of bottles per year as compared to older people A major factor at play would be disposable income And one more, if you think about it far fewer kids used to bring specifically sports bottles, they would just use any bottle that was available at home Hence these approximations

So I assumed that a young kid would buy a sports bottle once in 2 years, hence 0.5 whereas an adult would buy once per year, hence 1
