This question is misleading. The emphasis on the words “current date” gives the impression that “datediff(days, date_posted, current_date)” would be sufficient. In other words, it’s unclear to me what the 180 day range is relative to exactly: the actual current date or the latest date_posted? The latter doesn’t make sense.
