I flew to Manchester in March 2024 from Dubai by Emirates airline. I got boarding passes online .I just scan my boarding pass in e gate and in immigration only eye scan .no passport required. Amazing experience

What about return PNR ticket. Normally we are not sure of certain unforeseen circumstances that may arise in a foreign land therefore many of us prefer return PNR tickets to avoid a major financial loss. As a tourist many times we face circumstances such as bad weather in the foreign land due to which our stay may get prolonged by a day or two and as a result either we have to get the ticket forfeited and skip the proposed excursion(s). About buying separate return ticket, you should know that it is not travelers fault For some years, more and more international airlines do not sell round fares or tickets. So one has to buy separate return ticket as there is no choice for tourists. Airliens departing from India are allowed to over book 5 % of their capacity. So if they assume every one will show up they must refuse boarding by making very funny excuses . There is no such law or policy in effect in which passenger must have return ticket with same airline . Check DGCA guidelines for more info . So what airline staff to they must find soft targets who travelling first time to accommodate other passengers who are citizens & PR of other countries

15:10 The airlines just mark it as no-show, and simply refuse the refund. I was once denied boarding because they believed that I was not fit to fly. I got everything done, but Indigo marked it as no show despite providing all proofs, and did not return a single penny. If they can do it for 20-25k, they are obviously not going to return 70-80k.

He had a valid canada visa with paid hotel bookings, returned tickets with same pnr, booked local transport tickets, enough show money, forex card, valid itinerary. But boarding denied if he replied every query of boarding officer... Even he's also a geniune traveller... Bahut bura haal kiya hua hai in logo ne... Kuch setting wale bande the unhe boarding pass issue kar diya us k saamne he if they had incomplete documents

If u have valid ticket then airlines staff has to give boarding pass they can't stop boarding they have no right to stop.. only immigration personnel can stop if we don't have valid documents.. so whenever they stop fight for your right

The only problem with airlines in India is the way they talk.. They have no respect towards passengers! They treat passengers like a beggar! Checking for documentation is completely okay and part of their job as the instructions come from Immigration itself what to check strictly. Airlines are forced to check all these things strictly and denying your boarding even they don’t want to do that because denying someone boarding is loosing a client for them. When your destination county deny your entry it’s create a huge problem for Airlines therefore they always put themselves on a safer side. Like I said what hate about Indian airlines they way they talk and it’s quite expected because we all know how educated we are! Airlines counters have low salary people less experience to handle customers and therefore their bad language comes automatically. Most of the people are writing immigration is good in India because they have given their work to airlines. Immigration doesn’t ask you so many things because they know they have already given a list of questions to airlines and then only give boarding pass! Last but not least- the situation is bad because of us only.. Settling illegally in other countries forcing Indian government to strict in boarding and immigration!

Airlines are nowadays becoming Immigration officers at Delhi airport 😂, I don’t know who gave them right to stop boarding if your everything is as per law, Specially Airindia, worst in this case (personal experience)
