(SOLVED) Insta360 ONE x2 NO Micro SD Card Error | Mac

There is a need for greater and faster storage with the INSTA360 / R / ONE / ONE X2 Cameras due to the twin lens design - Only a few types of cards are compatible with these - and fewer have been tested.
After purchasing one of the approved cards, and formatting it in Ex FAT with my MacBook, the insta360 ONE X2 still continued with NO SD Card Error and showing NO card.

Hey! I bought an insta360 one rs 1inch camera, shot all day, but at the end of the day I got an error - the card is not readable, I formatted the card and lost all the footage ( why is this happening? will the error happen again? What is the reason? The card is of a good level , is completely suitable for this camera, but it had files from another camera, could this be the reason?

Congrats on your purchase. Sorry to hear that you lost all your footage. I know cards are getting bigger, but I still would use smaller cards and change them often so as not to loose a load of footage. - Have you tried Overwriting formatting ?? It can take a long time, but its worth it in the end. Makes sure every sector of the storage is in the best condition for receiving your footage and storing it safely. -

@Yashx Follow this video it should solve this issue of the camera not finding the Card. It takes a little time to do it right, but its 100% worth it!

Your welcome. I dont know why they dont give you this as a solution when using even their own cards. But it seems to be the best workaround ive been able to come up with that makes it work without the risk of loosing all your footage. Happy Shooting

didn't help .. :( Card still Not recognized by my ONE x2, even though Windows 10 has no issues with it Before using that formatter tool, or After i fully re-formatted with with your indicated tool. ONE x2 May be faulty ... just after 5 - 10 uses ..

Use different compatible sd card from Insta 360 recommended list. I could swear it was my camera faulty, the card works on windows but not on my insta. New card solved the problem. Still don’t know why it does that.

@@cipri198zero no didn’t work. Tried different brands , bought brand new card make as they deliver with 360. Nothing worked it was fkd. I sent the cam back got replacement hope This one lasts .

... And it Broke again !!! What a pieace of Sh$t.. It's the same type of card which seems breaks this camera, which shorrts it / fucks sd card too !. Its a SanDisk, and exactly same card works just fine in my DJI drone !! Insta === junk :(

Oh no im sorry to hear that. Where did you get your cards from and what brand you using? - I have spoken to many who bought cheap SanDisk labeled cards and they are Fakes, causing them to overheat and issues with formatting and camera recognition. - Make sure you have done the OVERWRITE feature and that it hasnt disconnected during the process.

I used my X2 and made a few videos but after about 10 it started giving me issues and now 3 of the Sandisk extreme plus sd micro cards are completely unrecognized by my computer. Any suggestions for how to at least be able to find the card to format it?

i was royally fucked on the shoot day, this fixed the issue I had with my Insta OneX2 not recognising the SD card that I had formatted with my mac. Now works great

Honestly I think I was in the same position before formatting it like this. Never had an issue since. Glad this worked for you too. - I have wondered if doing this every 10 - 50 formats would help the card. Might run some tests.

I have this same error, I bought my one x2, and it is not recognizing the card, would I just format the card using the computer?
