You are a life-saver. I was in panic mode with the black screen of death. I had tried the hard reset without success, but either the spam-clicking worked, or I didn't hold the power on button long enough, this time I counted it out to make sure I held it, and sure enough, it took about 20 seconds to restart. Whew!!!! Thanks very much.

For those who dont hear sound and its just completely black THIS WORKS THE RESTART THING WORKS just keep holding it down really hard do the volume up volume down then hold it hard for as long as you can it worked for me!!! Tysm

Months ago my iPad suffered from water damage due to a stupid mistake from my little brother. I went to AppleCare, online websites, in person tech appointments and they all said I had to replace it. I have years worth of art on it, so I was devestated. On a whim today, I looked this video up and my iPad turned back on. I cannot tell you enough how much this means to me ❤️

This is a two year old video but man…. You just made my day!! The first two times I tried the hard reset it didn’t work, I had it plugged in for two days, had it unplugged while trying this hard reset and then I plugged it back into charging cable and did the hard reset!
