I had mouse toggle working but I had to reload and now I cannot get the started prompt. Stuck in starting. I have fireTv it’s about 6 years old. It supports 1080 I tried 760 resolution plus all other recommendation start stop on off etc.

To enable mouse, I am clicking on play/pause button twice using fire TV remote app as I don't have physical remote. Should I use only physical remote to enable mouse pointer?

Hi Rajat, Thanks for this insightful video. I was able to resolve the mouse toggle issue with this info. Now the issue is I am not able to drag down the language list in JIO Tv. The screen is fixed with the list of 10 or more languages but my language "tamil" is not part of that list. I have to drag down to select my language but not sure how to do that with mouse toggle. Could you please help me out?

Hi there, thanks for making and sharing the video. 👍 I went through every single one of those steps to try and get the Mouse Toggle to work on Firestick (cursor was not appearing) and none of them appeared to work. What got it to work in the end was, frustratingly, switching the Firestick off at the mains and switching it back on again. 🙄 Unreal.

Uninstall it and download it from the link he provided. I've tried all the steps he suggested on the app that I downloaded from the filelinked, but it didn't help. Then I uninstalled it and downloaded the way he showed and it works now. Good luck to you

I have firestick 4k and download v1.06 follow all the steps but sadly still not working.

Although I have successfully installed and used v1.11 with 4K and 4K Max with an HD TV (1080p 60Hz), it appears that it completely fails when the Firestick is plugged into an OLED (at least, LG C2), even if you change the resolution on the Firestick as directed. Unfortunately it gets worse, for some reason, it also KILLS YOUR NETWORKING, ie your Wifi connections are unable to connect to the internet. Annoyingly, Firestick refuses to show you Home screens when this happens, so you can't even delete the app (it appears internet may briefly come back, giving access to the Home screen and the app, allowing it to be deleted, although I have currently stopped it from starting 'Enable the mouse service = off'). I saw a comment elsewhere about this and thought it was rubbish (being successful with the HD TV), but I have confirmed it to be true. Real shame, as this functionality is absolutely needed when using apps not written for the firestick (and I can't find an alternative).

Same question here. What's the point of using something that the control does...? What it is important is to be able to use the mouse the normal way. For what I saw on another video, it only moves horizontal and vertically. It is ridiculous they removed that capability. Perhaps, they don't want people saving money con computers, since many use this devices to navigate the Internet. Otherwise, what else...?
