Thank you, thanks for also adding the email code it made the testing faster. For those whom its not working for maybe try to comment out this line {sendmail_from ="[e-mail]"} in the php.ini file because it was not commented out in mine, i had to comment it out myself. Add a semi colon in front of the line.

I'm trying to configure this for an e-mail test script I'm working on for my job, this thing wouldn't work no matter what I did. Trying these steps now. Edit: Thank you so much man!!! Fucking finally.......scored the dummy e-mail script touchdown! As soon as I changed those lines in the php.ini file and setup the new e-mail test file, it came through to my e-mail. This is a huge relief.........I've been fighting with this for like 5 days now! I had to comment back the lines with "SMTP = localhost" and "smtp_port = 25" and add quotes around the send_mail path in addition to adding "-t -i" onto the end. I also have open_ssl module enabled for Apache, which I saw from another video in addition to the two PHP extensions you need enabled. You saved the day broskie, thanks again!

where is php.ini file? in which you amke changes in smtp function. I am using wampp 3.*. are you talkning about the php.ini file in php/bin folder or in it will be in apache folder? In my apache/bin folder no php.ini file.
