Honestly it's the fact the entry to the daycare is called "kids cove" like foxy "cove" and all the palm trees inside, continuing the theme throughout way back to the actual "daycare" play area that makes me think it was foxy at one point or another. It's his theme! Pirate/beach -y

Y does everyone think foxy is the one to go away or get dismantled there might be another thing that we are missing why would there be a malfunction if Vinny wasn't even there or burntrap and also the books are not 100% cannon to the games it could also be that fazbear's entertainment wanted a more kid-friendly character we all know foxy is not exactly the most friendliest looking character

If there WAS a Glamrock Foxy in the Mega Pizzaplex, i think he would've been a security bot that patrols the entire daycare part of the mall, from the actual daycare to kid's cove (since it seems that both areas are linked). Foxy's main purpose, when being daycare security, would be that he is supposed to find any lost children who might've escaped the daycare and just like Moon (suggesting that he may have a security protocol as well), to reprimand any intruders. His attraction would be like a mix of Monty golf and Roxy Raceway, but its a huge pirate-themed darkride with an arcade, café and a huge version of the Pirate's cove stage. The attraction is quite dark and only has its lanterns and illuminescent blue water (which very likely has unsafe chemicals in it), but for some reason, its out of order. For shattering him, Foxy wouldn't have any necessary parts that Gregory would need to upgrade Freddy, but he's still a threat to him. Eventually, Gregory finds two messages which reveal how to deal with Foxy; 1# Turns out that Foxy is quite vulnerable to bright flashes and unlike the others who just malfunction, he has to shut down and reboot himself. So, Fazcams and Fazer blasters are really useful. 2# There was an incident where Foxy jumped on to a moving boat, landing on the emergency brake controls which resulted in the boat going extremely fast. The boat couldn't be stopped and diverted into an abandoned part of the attraction, which ended with what resembled a waterfall. The waterfall luckily just poured into a huge container and had a drain at the bottom so it didn't overfill. But because the boat was going at high speed, it was so fast that it somehow BOUNCED off the bucket, tipped it over and crashed into the wall near it. Foxy was found in critical condition, with one of his lower legs ripped off...and he was soaking wet. Gregory gets the idea to make the incident happen again. He goes on the dark ride and has to prevent Foxy from jumping on the boat until the right moment comes, by shooting or flashing him in the eyes. When he nears the abandoned part of the ride, Foxy jumps on, obliviously breaks the controls again and shouts something like "Yarr! I have come for yer boo-" the boat suddenly picks up in speed and Gregory jumps off. Foxy only has a few minutes to react before the same thing happens to him again. When Gregory comes down to see the damage, he doesn't take anything and just skidaddles out of there. I dunno...he could dance on the body if he wanted 🤷 (Anyways, sorry for rambling)

I love the idea,well we know monty goes dog crazy,it would be nice if bonnie or foxy came and helped Cassie or even rebooted monty, just like in the Books I wish they has put in the Big rollercoaster and ferries wheel. Cause I figure,pizza plex is just one area of the massive theme park. The new game featured in possibly theme park could also have a water park,with water animatronics?

Here’s my take about why Cassie says it was her favorite ride yet it wasn’t finished: Since Cassie’s dad was a tech at the Pizzaplex she was allowed to be one of the “test runners” on the constructed ride before all of the decorations got finished. Then either Foxy did his incident that got him decommissioned or the construction workers realized the ride’s heft and/or leaking liquid was crumbling the foundations.

There's another explanation for this entirely, which was provided to us by the RUIN DLC. In the dlc, at one point you come across an area that was supposed to at one point be an attraction in the Pizzaplex, this being Foxy's log ride. You can even find various cowboy-themed Foxy cutouts scattered throughout the abandoned attraction. You can even find a cutout of cowboy foxy standing next to Glamrock Chica, who's wearing a pink dress (furthering the idea this is from much earlier on in the pizzaplex). So it seems that originally a cowboy themed version of Foxy was going to be in the Pizzaplex, and have the log ride as their area/attraction. We also learn more about this, from what Cassie says about certain items in the inventory. Obviously in the inventory, if you click on an item, in the description, you can read a comment Cassie has about said item. And in Ruin, there are a couple of collectibles that you can get that are tied to foxy and the log ride, that Cassie comments on. Specifically, Cassie states that she used to love going on the log ride, and also that it was sadly never opened to the public, confirming it was in production, but got scrapped and never officially opened. It's also assumed that bc it was never opened to the public, but Cassie still supposedly enjoyed going on it, Cassie's father who we know is a faz. ent. technician allowed her to go on the ride during it's construction. The whole thing about us seeing an older version of Chica's design in the cutout alongside Foxy and the fact that the attraction was never opened to the public seems to confirm that Roxy did indeed officially replace Foxy. There being a giant Foxy statue in Kid's Cove is most likely just an aesthetic thing/part of the decorating of the area

So in a NUTSHELL, He was NEVER there to begin with, NO ANIMATRONIC, No PHYSICAL APPERERANCE. That just seems "off" to me. The OG Fox, in every mainline entry of the games, to NOT PHYSICALLY be present here.

I think that while they had a plan to have Glamrock Foxy there, but the idea got scrapped early enough so that Foxy was never really constructed, they only had design plans for him.

Foxy always had problems from the beginning of the game series. What wasn’t thought of enough that was when everyone was blaming Monty for decommissioning Bonnie, Foxy could’ve lost control once again and actually be the one who decommissioned Bonnie. Soon then the company probably gave up on foxy and only kept his merchandise because he’s still a loved character because he’s so cool and he’s a pirate. My own belief and story is that Roxy felt empathy for foxy because he was constantly hidden in the shadows because of his mistakes. She wanted to be the best just like he was for him. OR she idolized foxy and wanted to be favorited just like how he was favorited. “Everyone loves you” or she tries to convince herself that she’s “the best”. If she didn’t have this whole constant “I need to be perfect” concept she would’ve been a more loved character instead of being seen as a narcissistic wolf. In sb ruin she showed her true characteristics which was loving and empathy and care. She was loved by Cassie and Cassie loved foxy’s ride. Idk how else to connect it.

My personal theory is that foxy was like monty and had his own special place in the mall with a ride and games, but Cassie's dad discovered the mimic midway through construction and said the ride was too dangerous which lead to the entire thing being scrapped.

I've only watched gameplay of the games, so I could be missing something but I always thought the reason Foxy wasn't in the game was for the key item(s) you need from Roxy were her eyes. Foxy only has one and that might of been a bit "too cruel" towards Foxy (because he has a fanbase- a strong one) so they made Roxy instead. I also believe for Foxy's Cove...the cutouts were place holders for the animatronic (think Disney or another amusement park if a "character is sick" type thing) So there is a possibility that Foxy was out of commission at the time/reworked OR by some weird reasons was able to escape(could also be a budget- he just didn't make the cut). Also I agree two kid areas might be a bit much but when you think one is for younger children and one is for older...it's not a bad idea, specially since this company targets kids they would want ways to keep ALL CUSTOMERS- I mean KIDS in if possible (Disney again, making it for children and adults) It would be adorable (if not scary) to see a DLC of him in his Cove, just playing tag with you (and cue me hiding- he is the ONE jumpscare that always gets me even though I think he's pretty cool. 😂)

Honestly this has a lot of merit, I hadn't much before made the connection of Kid's Cove (even that's a play on "Foxy's cove" from the other games and also his location in SB) being connected to the daycare play area. So much so you still see all the palm trees and "pirate/cove" aesthetics all around the actual play area, just outside the ballpit/foam zone etc. I really think he could've been the prior daycare assistant, but what I don't get is why they decided to change that to sun and moon? If anything the argument isn't that roxy replaced him, it's them? I mean Roxy obviously seems to have replaced him as a band member, similar names... both canines... etc, but why they decided to replace him from the whole pizzaplex is a strange move. It feels like the developers almost got bored of him and just thought "meh" but he has been in all the games, like you say, and was deffo a fan favourite for a while. They could've easily have kept him as the daycare assistant and have given him an up-to-date glamrock equivalent which would've been so cool to see! Don't get me wrong. I love sun and moon (you know sun is my favourite lol) but it would've been great to have some explanation in the game as to why they became the new attendant , but I guess there's only so much lore you can cover! A hint of foxy being nasty/removed would've been great. They hint so much about what happened to bonnie, but no one questions what happened to foxy? It is strange, especially with a zone themed to him.

I would argue that a log ride assuming that it's a kind of slow one where you get to see a lot of cool stuff (think the pirates of the carribean in disneyland) You could have a functioning rail system and a log boat and even a lot of the things that you are supposed to look at, but if it's missing 5 things it technically isn't finished, but it could still be open to ride it, jus twith slightly less stuff to look at

One concept i have been bouncing around the various FNaFTubers is Animatronic half-generations. We know the Mainline band generations: Gen 1: Mascot Siuts Gen 2: Classics/Withereds, or more accurately, the ones that get stuffed and become the withereds. The Mediocre Melodies, Carnie and Fall Fest bots are in this generation as well Gen 3: Funtimes [I am placing Circus Baby's Pizza World and possibly Chica's Party World, the restaraunts, before FNAF2, but Circus Baby's Party and Rentals, the bunker business that potentially becomes the AR Delivery Service, after] Gen 4 Toys Gen 5: Rockstars Gen 6: AR delivery Animatronics Gen 7: Glamrock/Shattered/Ruined The Springlocks are the first example of a canonical 1/2 Generation, being the bridge between mascot suits and the Classic style, or possibly the locked on stage Mediocre Melody style. they are stated by phone guy as such. The Security Puppet, I believe is generation 2.5, as it coexisted with the Classics, but had features that I believe were adapted for the Toys [the security features and potentially sound sensitivity, a feature both share with the funtimes] Speaking of the Funtimes, although Fall Fest might debunk this, I believe the Alphabet kids [JJ, BB, DD] and possibly the juice clowns, were leftovers from Circus Baby's Pizza and possibly Chica's Party World, tossed into Freddy's Jr/New Freddy Fazbear's Pizza/FNaF2 because they weren't actual funtimes, and are thus gen 3.5 Skipping ahead, we have Sun/Moon/Eclipse along with potentially the Rockstars. I believe these were the OG Pizzaplex crew [before they settled on the glamrock/80's TV theme]. The soon to be Daycare attendant had his castle drama stage, Rockstar Pirate Foxy had Pirate's Cove [his standard attraction], Rockstar Bonnie becane Big Lebowski Bowling Bonnie [both of them have very similar designs in the posters to their Rockstar versions] and Hillbilly Rockstar Chica had her bakery. To borrow a book character Tiger Rock Elvis would fit as a mainstage attraction in this ecclectic, throw crap at the wall attempt to fill an entire mall with FazCrap. Shortly into its run, the Rockstars were showing a lack of interest, so they try to re-brand Foxy as a Cowboy and use the newly rediscovered mimic to re-build Chica, Bonnie and Freddy into their glamrock forms, Pirate's Cove gets hastily re-branded Kid's Cove, and the Lights Out theater becomes the Daycare. Halfway through construction, the cowboy re-brand of Foxy is also scrapped and they re-purpose the area and the still under construction Glamrock Foxy into a female form to get the 80s teem group dynamic of Prep [Freddy], Goofball [Bonnie], Girl Next Door [Chica] and Hot Mess [the new Roxanne Wolf]. This is the Freddie/Shaggy/Velma/Daphney dynamic from scooby-doo.. Monty Gator may be the 2nd made on the new Glamrock endos, after Prototype Freddy, but he is turned into the host of mini-golf and roxanne is initially just the host of Roxy Raceway. Yes it has holes, but it can potentially explain the 2 different Foxys, and where TF sun/moon came from. Feel free to adapt and debunk, would love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve never been able to play the games, but have heard from others that Sun/Moon came from a different venue originally. Might’ve been fazbear’s diner, but I’m not sure. They had a whole different design entirely as well. I do know that they came from wherever Mr. Hippo was. (Sun/Moon had a Jack-in-the-box design, two AIs, different names, and a ‘hand puppet’ act, pretty much)

The reason I don’t think foxy could’ve turned to Roxy is because, fazbear entertainment is low budget, if they change a animatronic, they’re just gonna rebrand or renovate the old attraction, they wouldn’t make a entire new one.

Cassie remembering the log flume ride and the log flume being unfinished don't have to be mutually exclusive. It's not unusual or uncommon for a ride to go through changes during its construction, as well as planned future updates and additions being made that are implemented later or never implemented at all. So the ride being 'unfinished' could be a commentary on the fact that the ride had a lot more that was planned for it and was under construction when whatever went wrong went wrong and they were just never put into place, but Cassie could still have ridden the finished parts while the ride was in operation in its unfinished state. However, Foxy's disappearance could be as simple as him having been removed for maintenance and in an as-yet unexplored area of the Pizzaplex that still has been unexplored by the time Cassie comes. Bonnie is a prime example of this, where he's prominent in spirit all through Security Breach, but never makes an appearance as an accessible or interactable character because of whatever happened to him. Foxy could be the same way, or in the same state as Mangle somewhere, and deactivated.

2:38 I need that Moon book *cries* The most common theory and/or fact I’ve seen is that Moon had a virus. Kinda like the other glamrocks, but his was more severe. Some believe that they have a ‘shared thought process’, but the virus prevented Moon from communicating with Sun, and vise-versa (think of it like texting someone and they never respond). Which is the reason why he made the rule of keeping the lights on. It was for everyone’s safety, because he knew something was terribly wrong with Moon. (Another reason why the poor mans is so lonely) I strongly believe that Moon isn’t the villain. Just… bad things happened to him 😔

Given to how long the Pizzaplex has been standing, we don’t know how long it’s been open. It could be that the log ride was finished in the beginning of the Pizzaplex’s first opening, but overtime, it needed to be fixed. Cassie could be referring to how the Log Ride never got finished, as in the maintenance repairs were never finished?

Foxy never meant to be the nanny type, i mean come on it has a hook instead of a hand BUT i do think there was indeed a cover up and based on the rubble beneath the Pizzaplex there were multiple redesigns, starting with a Freddy Fazzbear roller coaster attraction that was supposed to be around the place but we've never seen that kind of attraction and then in Ruin, we get to see Foxy's attraction but only part of it. Tbh I think they simply wanted to relate to a more mature audience for teenagers. Foxy hardly suits modern or racing vibes. So even if they changed him Into a cowboy(tbh maybe he should have been a pilot) it still wouldn't have given glam rock feels. So they went with what was more marketable and made sense I guess.

The chances are they could've been adding foxy and more 'stuff'...w/ the hole bite thing, if i remember correctly in one of the fnaf series..they had to shut down his cove cause of the bite didnt they? the whole bad for business thing. Chances are they might have thought to add w/ the new owners and all that...yet somehow get talked out of it, 'the whole bad for business' cause of the old flesh wounds and all that. a funny reason would be Foxy flooded Kids Cove so he could be a "true pirate", since Foxy single handily destroyed Kids Cove for pretty much no reason he became a liability and was replaced

Id like to think that foxy wasnt added was due to them not wanting a large water area, so they tried to change him into a cowboy instead of a pirate but probably got some backlash due to fans saying it wasnt foxy.

I do have a theory about Foxy in Security breach and Bonnie too. Here's the theory for Foxy: We all know before we start the game The speaker says something about an incident and having to go out and closing for an unscheduled maintenance, was that about Foxy? Maybe Foxy had been Malfunctioning while watching the kids in the daycare of his, and had to be dragged off the stage, what if Foxy was still somewhere in that cove? But he wasn't seen. The Theory about Bonnie: If noone ever noticed this, we hear banging in Monty's room at the vent but what was he banging? It sounded much like metal, maybe Monty destroyed Bonnie while noone was watching and then dragged him away while noone was out of the rooms and noone could see him...

This theory does make sense considering sun/moon is the way he is. Eclipse was supposed to be the version of them actually ready for presentation. But now we have a hyper active sun and an overly murderous moon. So it would make sense that he was put in the daycare in a hurry. Tbh I’ve always thought the daycare attendant was a prototype from the beginning because of the plain- stark contrast of both his personas.

This looks like a design that could’ve made in into the game and I have a story for it There was sun! There was moon! There was the daycare morph. They started as the same animatronic that would be sun when lights would be on but moon when they are off. Moon was dangerous he would like to kill children if they weren’t sleeping. Sun was crazy and a control freak but kids still loved him. One day it was night time and sun was trying to escape moon and tore them apart. But the wires and the metal stuck them together as the kids woke up watching. In horror moon killed all the kids but suns side tried to pull him back and then the daycare closed with every day and night they chose who was in charge moon killing everyone in sight with sun trying to hold him back. I think he was never there, in construction they were building foxys log flume, and they scrapped it for some reason. They already had set up the statues and kids cove, and fazbear entertainment being fazbear entertainment, they left it there so they would waste money, scrapped the log flume and took the daycare attendant from the theatre, that they had already made, to be in the to daycare. And kids cove became just a a play area with nobody to own/ run it. And Roxy was made to replace foxy. That’s why Roxy’s raceway is close to foxys log flume because they has made some space for it.

I dunno. I think he never was actually there. I think he originally was replaced by Roxy, i think he evolved into her. But people didn’t want Roxy, or at least some of them didn’t. I think kids actually complained! Leading into Roxy’s issues with self confidence. But because of this, a foxy area went into development and they were gonna bring him back. It just didn’t happen before the events of security breach. Anyways that’s my take lmaoooo I don’t think it’s that deep, but just watch me be wrong

Glamrock Foxy exists. Theres proof of that, why would they build a kid's cove if the most iconic pirate in the series isn't there? Well, the kid's cove WAS the original daycare but because of an accident with Foxy it had to be temporarily closed. Foxy was scrapped and then thrown out, becuse of that Sun and Moon was born.

I'm wondering if Bonnie's disappearance, the raceway getting shutdown and foxy being scrubbed are all connected. What if when the mimic/glitchtrap/the mass of several animatronics came up through the sinkhole under Roxy Raceway it was a distraction. During which Glitchtrap controlled Monty and took out Bonnie and then set it up to make it look like Foxy had done it? That would explain the urgency behind the wording of how both the Raceway was closed and Foxy was replaced

Foxy had to have a log ride but it never finished and I think he is now a parts and service animatronic and monty took his legs why cause in security breach where we find foxy plushies there are a leg and we know monty is the fastest in security breach so it means he took his legs

What I think happened is that he met the same fate as Freddy and Bonnie, remember in one the true endings when the staff bots tore Freddy apart, I think something similar happened to that event, or Foxy was the OG daycare attendant, it the theory to me that makes the most sense, another thing that could’ve happened is that when Bonnie went missing, Foxy decided to leave his green room to look for him, and ended up in Roxy raceway, he is surprised by this since him and Roxy were both in the same attraction, then Roxy comes along but she is controlled by Vanny and she destroyed Foxy , that morning employees found his hook and destroyed body parts all over the raceway, so they got rid of the body but kept his hook in a storage unit, just in case they need to bring him back… But they never did, that’s because Fazbear entertainment got rid of any evidence of Foxy even being their in the first place. And Roxy became more popular with the fans than Foxy. RIP Foxy

I think you’re right, but you forgot one thing. In fnaf 2, Phone guy says that Fazbear Entertainment thought Foxy was too scary for kids, which is why they were replaced by Mangle. Maybe that’s why Foxy wasn’t in Security Breach. What do you think?

An idea i could see maybe they had problems with the idea of foxy? As it seems maybe they wanted the cowboy ride and kids cove but both required a different foxy. So before instead of using foxy they made the cowboy Roxy and the daycare replaced by sun

Oh I can easily answer that error with the log ride, Cassie’s dad was a technician so she maybe got to test the log ride before it open, then something happened and they scrapped it

I think it's more likely that fazbear wasn't making money off the new foxy. Phone guy through the previous games mentions both withered and original foxy were big hits when they were active characters, in a sense fazbear pulling the construction of his log flume is evidence of a fall in popularity for foxy. The ride is complete in help wanted 2's VR world but is run by a Fnaf 1 foxy in a pirate captain's uniform and NOT a Glamrock Foxy despite Glamrock Foxy being all over the irl promo material at the pizzaplex. This pretty much demonstrates that the original Foxy designs were the customer favourites and the Glamrock version of Foxy just didn't capture that same wonder. Foxy was also originally to be paired with mangle's original form in the gap between Fredbear's and the reopening(the toys were the reason for the reopening) of the Fnaf 2 location. Phone guy all but admits that mangle runs kid's cove there BECAUSE foxy was decommissioned and stored in the back. Fazbear probably didn't revive foxy in the pizzaplex because of his past penchant for breaking down leading to a loss of popularity over time and a great deal of nuisance due to having to replace him at short notice constantly. Basically Foxy was a liability and a money sink for Fazbear entertainment and they could ill afford that when they'd put all of their eggs into one basket in the form of building the pizzaplex.

I think Foxy was in the Pizza Plex at some point and was more than likely the old daycare attendant because another clue is in foxy kids cove there is a " BANNED " writing on a wall with a upset sun face on it so before sun and moon became the day care attendants foxy most definitely was but based on suns behavior with children could be the reason foxy was de commissioned he probably did something and now that sun and moon are the daycare attendants sun try's his best to keep that from happening again so that's why he follows and doesn't let you leave his sight without a distraction and it could lead to something deeper but I'm still researching.

kinda off-topic but do you think security-breach still has any reference into the lore? I remember hearing something about how scott cawthon was finished with the lore because of all the twitter backlash and that security-breach was actually no longer apart of the official lore of the whole fnaf series. And I wonder, since Foxy has different traits then the other animatronics if maybe he was apart of the kid's cove but when parents would force their child to leave or something, he would act up because of the whole original killing of the 5 children. Causing the establishment to replace him with Roxanne in fear of another incident like the bite of 83' and 87' to happen again and cause the entire establishment to shut down and having them to pay the families to silence them again. Also I liked the video, Shadows- I mean Twisted!

@@TwistedAnimatronic SPOILER WARNING After watching the movie, the main character Mike had problems with his brother Garrett being kidnapped and we also see in the beginning of the movie we see that he beats up a random father because it looks like he's kidnapping the child, and in the games Michael is wearing the foxy mask... And that ties into my original comment above on how Foxy might of been acting funky to the parents who wanted/FORCED their children to leave.
