In this tutorial, I demonstrate two possible ways to fix this Windows startup error that says windows failed to start, a recent hardware or software changes might be the cause, with the error code 0xc00000f or 0xc0000225. Just as the error message suggests, this could be caused by either a hardware or software change on your computer. On the hardware side, it could be that the disk with your Windows files or your operating system, for some reason is inaccessible to the boot manager. So maybe the disk got loose from the disk connector or in the worst-case scenario the disk is failing. On the software side, it could be that certain applications or malware have managed to change the path to your Windows boot media, and as such, the boot manager is unable to locate the boot files during startup. The first solution in this tutorial is for situations where this error is due to hardware changes while the second solution will address the possibility of a software change leading to this error. If you’re unsure what could be causing this error in your case, then I recommend that you start off with the first solution and if the error continues, then you can proceed with the second one.

It's just not reading your hard drive. Master boot record will still be repaired.

You didn't break it 💀 all you had to do was just use another installation media if this didn't work or you messed it up on accident by messing up windows files and reinstall windows, software can't break hardware unless you do it on purpose

This does help at all, I have multiple SSD's hooked up to my pc all of whick work when connected to other motherboards. When I unhook all other boot devices except for my C drive and the flashdrive when I try to boot to the flashdrive it just tosses the same error back in my face 0xc000000e. everytime I boot to anything involving windows installation it throws the same error, I have tried 3 different installation disks (Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) and 2 different flash drives (with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) any ideas? Tried clearings cmos and updating bios still nothing

HI, my laptop has this kind of problem and i tried to use your method from stage 1 up to the command promt section, (biootrec fixboot), but unfortunately when i entered bootrec /fixboot instead of reading "operation completed succesfully" it read acces denied, the rest went ok as shown in your clip, only, except at the end after pressing A ,followed by entre it read " ACCES DENIED " , when i repeated it all over again i got same result, and even when i opted to press Y for yes instead of A for all, at the end, it gave same result " ACCES DENIED" and on enetering exit it goes back to selecet repair or advanced option ( the blue screen). what could be the problem ? well i suspect that when my laptop, HP pavilion i7 6 month old now, was preloaded with trial windows 10. because a month prior to thi problem it had requested that i activate windows 10, now what do i do ?
