Liebe Regula Mühlemann, ich dachte immer sie währen eine ausgesprochene Mozartinterpretin. Nun überraschen sie mich mit diesen schönen Liedern von E. Grieg. Dies zeigt die Vielfältigkeit ihrer sängerischen Möglichkeiten. Dieser Auftritt ist meiner Meinung nach geprägt von großer Disziplin und Exaktheit wobei die leidenschaftliche und die stimmungsvolle Ausführung zweifellos im Vordergrund stehen. Ihre Stimme geht einem unter die Haut. Wie arm wäre die Welt ohne diese Musik. Danke

Hej Thomas, Über Regulas wunderschöne Stimme sind wir zwei uns ja wirklich einig. Dieses Video werde ich noch mehrfach anhören und ansehen. Mein Hauptaugen-, besser Ohrenmerk legte ich auf den letzten Titel, Solveigs Lied, weil ich dies von den gesungenen am besten kenne (auch den Text). Ich habe es von mehreren sehr guten Sängerinnen gehört, so zum Beispiel von den norwegischen Sopranistinnen Sissel Kyrkjebø und Marita Solberg, die beide sehr schöne Stimmen haben. (Von Sissel höre ich auch sehr gerne die norweg. Nationalhymne 'Ja, vi ønsker dette landet'.) Für Regula war es sicher nicht so einfach, in dieser für sie ungewohnten Sprache zu singen. Sie hat es aber wirklich sehr gut gebracht. - Was mir gerade beim letzten Titel weniger gefiel, das war die für meine Begriffe viel zu kräftige Musik. Das muss nicht sein, und ich meine, dass sie für diese Partie nicht angebracht ist. Aber alles ist wohl Ansichtssache, und ich möchte nicht intolerant sein. Gruß, Eckard

There isn’t a good word in English to describe Regula’s voice. Creamy? Rich? Full? Rounded? Maybe there is a good word in another language. But gives as much delight in the lower range as in the higher. Grieg musty be pretty pleased. But Regula, pardon me but you are too young to wear black.
