I hate when I have to wash my parts in the sink. Also, that small drawer/shelf inside the sink - that is for your private parts.

I love those solvent tanks. Don't tell my CO, in the usmc I'd earn beer money using ours to clean guys rifles. They are magical, no CLP needed!

Great bench ,work area Connor. Could you use safety goggles when using the parts washer when brushing your parts . That solvent could splash off that brush and damage your eyes. Great video again.🤓👍👍

I don't know if you remember when I recommended you to get one of those propane blowtorch heaters. I changed my suggestion I would say go with the sunflower heaters. I got one head on the one I have, and it heats up my shed in about 5 minutes. I don't even need a jacket. The garage looks great man congrats.
@lawnrebel
@lawnrebel 6 жыл бұрын
Yes I remember the recommendation. I went to Home Depot and looked at them. They had a ridgid for $150. I decided not to pull the plug on that one. I will look into the Sunflower heater. I do have a little Mr Heater tent style heater that takes 1 lb tanks. I am getting the correct fittings to convert it to a 20lb tank. I still would rather have a larger heater like you are suggesting.

Also try an ultrasonic cleaner. You need to be careful what you put in it (like aluminum) but the parts will be cleaned like you have never seen before.

The dishwasher is a great parts cleaner too for things that don't corrode from the caustic soap. If there is messy residue left behind just blame the kids.

If the washer doesn't have a grounding plug. I'd look into connecting a ground wire to it, in case that pump builds up static electricity while running. Esp with a petrol based cleaner.

I've heard of some guys putting a powerful magnet on the outside of the tank near the pump intake to grab any metal shavings so they don't make it into the pump. Cheap insurance policy.
