how should you decide which positive and negative sign go into which bracket? because regardless of which sign u put in it will give the same answer but if i don't know how to deduce which sign goes into which bracket i wont get the answer right so how do u deduce which sign goes into which bracket????????

Does it matter which way round the brackets are? Example (x + 7 ) (x - 5) = 0. Could that be correct as ( x - 5 ) ( x + 7 ) = 0. Just checking thanks for video 😊

No because 2x = -5 and youre trying to find x so you just divide -5 by 2 and get -2.5. He already did the opposite sign from +5 to -5 at the start.

you can't solve it by factorising directly,because it has a coefficient greater than 1 for 8x^2 therefore you have to use the a x c method first
