My last mathematics lesson was aged 16. I always struggled with maths in school. These lessons remind me of what I missed out on because I was so confused and afraid of my teacher and my classmates thinking I was stupid. I will probably not need to solve trigonometric equations any time soon, but I love the process of learning through these videos. Thank you for being such a wonderful and kind mentor, the kids you teach are very lucky.

I think the quadrants are still helpful. If it's positive in 1 quadrant, and negative in the adjacent one, then it must be 0 on the border between those quadrants.

All of calculus, which is foundational to engineering, astronomy, and many other fields (including financial sector) use these concepts. I get that people want to be able to apply stuff right away or not bother, but it's not always what you're learning that you will apply. You learn it so you can learn other stuff which is then directly applicable to the real world.
