It's always bothered me how Monica kicked Rachel out. I agree the apartment was hers (because it was on her grandmother's name for rent control), but it was too fast. There was a moment where Rachel literally had nowhere to go and Monica at no point said "you can stay a little longer". They all basically lived at Monica's anyway, what's the big deal? Monica and Chandler kept hosting after he moved in, everyone had a key to their house, so why the rush to have Rachel leaving?

Totally agree. That spare bedroom wasn't going anywhere. Odd way to write for Monica who is usually pretty caring!
