@@FromBeyondTheGrave1 Ohhh I just watched his video. Idk, I think the main difference is he added a lot of rice syrup and expected the dish to be like a regular yule log, which disappointed him. In my case I cut down on the sweetness a bit and let the natural flavours of the ingredients come out more which is why I liked it more I think

Thanks for the video, really good doses, but you made me loose a lot of time saying to feel free and skip the video, cause you didn't write the ingredients properly in the description! I mixed up all coffee crumble and ganache ingredients, while coffee crumble had 2 different parts and ganache was separate ....

I actually didn't like this recipe, but I like your effort of doing it and glad you liked it. Even ChefPK, who made the recipe and log too (not sure if after or before you did) didn't like it much, too much effort and eggs. I also tried to do the Ganache the way you did, but I've got cacao butter and liquid, as it doesn't emulsify together, So i've got chocolate plus liquid after it sets.

Hmmm, I'd day it could feed 5-6 people if everybody gets 1 slice? It filled me very fast at least. I was full after 1 slice. For who will you be making it? Because I'd recommend making a normal busch de noel and adding the balls on top, will cost less and will taste better in my opinion, since I've tried both. If you're making it for people who are lactose intolerant then I'd definetly go with this one tho

Hahaha, you can skip out on a few ingredients like the yam, or the coffee crumble filling, should get you to around 15-20 dollars and close results
