Sir I had one dout in human reproduction. If one ovary is removed then how many ova will be produced in an year ?answer is 6 or 12 ?please sir explain it with explanation.

with one ovary, an egg is still released every month. Even if the ovary is not adjacent to its original fallopian tube, as long as there is a healthy tube on the other side, it is possible for the egg to reach it and then travel to the uterus. So answer is 12.

@@BiologySimplifiedTamil tq sir. 2 ovaries are there.For first month left ovary releases 1 ovum and for next month right ovary will be functioning at the same time the left ovary is getting repair.So alternatively left and right ovary is releasing ovum .If left ovary is removed means right ovary is only functional.There is no left ovary means how 12 ova are produced in an year?? Sir in this case 1 st month right ovary releases 1 ova and it get repaired.so next month it could not release ovum.so there is no ovum is produced in 2nd month .so only 6 ovums are realesed in an year. Why the answer not 6????
