Thanks! Good somatic practice. I like observing/exploring my arm lifts and twists in seated pose. It helps me get more present and feels parts of the body I normally wouldn't.

Hi Tristan 🤗 Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your reflections with me! Yes, it's interesting how slowing down the movement and following your arm with your gaze can truly change how the movement feels in your body. I appreciate you sharing your practice with me! Enjoy the rest of your day, and take care 🙏✨

Hi Dani 🤗 It's so nice to hear from you 🤍 I hope that you enjoyed this practice! I filmed this one in the morning...probably should have filmed it in the evening as I was quite sleepy afterwards 😴 haha. I appreciate you being here! Enjoy the rest of your day, and take good care 🙏💕

@@YogawithRachel I haven’t been able to try this yet. I just had a biopsy of my breast and can’t do a lot of the poses yet. But when I can I’m definitely doing it. I have done your bound ankle video and the corpse pose one. It helped calm my nerves. I was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer. My world has been flipped upside down. My anxiety has been so high. But I will continue to do what I can of your classes throughout my treatment. Even if it’s just 20 mins I can lay there and breathe and “try” and relax I will take it. The road ahead of seems long and scary. I will start chemotherapy treatments soon. I will continue to utilize your breathing techniques and on my good days do your yoga classes. I’m telling you all this because you have been there with me throughout my yoga journey thus far, and want to let you know I appreciate you and your classes. Thank you for helping me get through one of the hardest times of my life. I feel like I’m doing yoga with one of my friends. Thank you, Rachel for being there. ❤ I hope you are doing well my friend. ❤️❤️

I can’t do this sitting like that. I have too much discomfort and pain in my low back and hips. Can this be done laying on my back?
@YogawithRachel2 ай бұрын
Hello 🤗 Thank you so much for your question! Most of this practice can be explored from the back. There are a few postures and movements that you can adapt to honor what feels good in your body. Also, you can opt out of exploring any poses or movements that don't resonate with you. Sometimes just lying on the back, while bringing your awareness to the sensation of your breath can feel deeply nourishing. I also have a lower body somatic yoga routine on the channel where most of the practice is done lying down on the back. I appreciate you being here ❤️ Take good care 🙏🤗
