"We need a bathroom, right Hunter?" We put a bathroom in the shop 6 months ago, after 30 years or so without one. Makes a huge difference. Ahhhh. Can't wait to see the shop addition.

Dont know if i would call that monster a splitter :D more like Accident waiting to happen....why i dont use the splitting screw in our tractor wood chopper and got a nice hydraulic splitter...1000 times safer to use and dont have to fear for my fingers.

Watching you remove the stud from that tire reminds me of why I come to your channel. The story isn't "What cool thing is he building/working on?" The story is you, and whatever you're working on, whether it's cleaning up your shop, helping your kids with their projects, or the tow truck! It's been amazing watching you go from making videos in your time you weren't working your full-time job, to being able to make this your full-time job. I look forward to whatever future plans you have and future videos/projects. I appreciate everyone who helps you with this. Your wife, your kids, your brother, Hunter, Merlin and everyone else who contributes.

We'll Paul. For a guy doing some relaxing you got to take a lesson from your son's. Going to a haunted house, sitting back with camera in hand watching dear old Dad do the tire change, fix 3 gas pumps and finally do alot of wood splitting and cutting. You know my grandfather used to say; " if you have 1 done helping you have a helper, if you have 2 sons there you have 1/2 the help, when 3 sons show up there is no help." He had three sons. 😇

Your boys are lucky! In the 1950s, I had to bring the wood in to the basement from the boulevard by dumping it through a small window. Then I had to split it with an axe when it was my turn to put it into the furnace. My siblings were to young to to help with either chore. My parents finally got an oil furnace just before I got married and left home. Now my brother owns the house and has a heat pump. There have been a lot a technology changes in my 80 years!

When i winterize my boat i hook the headphones up to the lower unit and run a short hose to a 5 gallon jug of RV antifreeze that's sitting on the swim deck and fire the boat up. No pulling plugs or hoses. Only back tension off on the belts! Trick my grandfather showed me when i was a kid. I helped him every year with the boat, truck camper & camp trailer!

I really like your wood splitter. I'm 63 years old and I have never used a wood splitter. when we used to cut wood for extra money we had a couple of 6 lb splitting mauls. We went to town splitting because a splitting machine is too slow and I'm very tall and I had so much leverage I could split what other people couldn't. I would like to have one now. I really enjoy watching you guys, you're calm and you don't yell at each other, you don't get nasty. I don't need contention in my life. I don't need it. You guys are the best. Best regards Bob from Virginia USA. Ps I want a 1964 to 66 chevy/GMC truck. I would prefer a C/k10 or c/k20 I'd take a long wheelbase c30! Can I get something fairly reasonable? I really enjoy your channel. After watching this latest video and as a long time 5th wheel RV owner, I hope where you dumped your tanks was your own private dump station. I would hope that you use a sewer hose when dumping at a public one so that the contents of the black tank go down the drain instead of all over the ground. I would hate to have to walk through that. I also have to comment that every time I see you struggling to keep your fork lift running, I wonder why someone with your talent doesn’t just take the time to overhaul it and fix it like you do every other vehicle that rolls into your shop. Keep up the good work!

I had one of those screw wood splitters. One day I removed the left back wheel of my truck an put splitter on. Everything went well until I was grinding my way through a gnarly large birch . The splitter stopped grinding through , the hunk of wood whipped over and the truck took off across the yard limping for nearly 50 ft before I caught up to it and stopped the truck. A real fun attachment and dangerous.
