Absolutely beautiful. Andrew Lloyd Weber said Some Enchanted Evening was the greatest song ever written for a musical. He is absolutely correct.

Fantastic, Jason! I attended the RIVC in Rochester, NY last Friday, May 19, 2023 and saw your videotaped performance of 'Vecchia Zimarra' from Puccini's La Boheme; it was great. Wish you were there in person so I could have met and talked to you. Good luck and best wishes on your operatic/concert career!

Great vocal tone and warmth in your voice. When one sings in that way the general non music person listener does not think or is aware of the technique but is moved to want more... Sometimes I hear what is supposed to be a well trained voice but it is not natural and is stiff which only shows the technique. Technique is truly solid when you do not even know it is there...

Not the best production value on this video, but it still comes through that you should definitely be on the Broadway stage because you most certainly have a voice made for the classic Broadway musicals.

You're probably right that he has a voice made for the classic Broadway musicals. Unfortunately, CURRENT Broadway has no interest in the classic Broadway musicals and the type of voices for which they were written. The current Broadway production of "Camelot" (and the hoopla surrounding it) is an excellent example.

Sorry to be the sop, but, it could have been recorded better! Mic/s were obviously at some distance, am guessing at the camera. Could have benefited greatly by decent close micing. Lovely performance though!!!

I thought the sound was fine. What would be the benefit of closer miking? It looks like they were trying to capture the sound of his voice in the acoustic of the room.

OMG ! close mic-ing picks up all the subtlties and beauties of tone! duh! that is why all the recording studios use it. they discovered this back in the 1930s !!!!!!@@grantyoungblood7895
